When this game first came out, it was hated by everyone. Yes it's not perfect, but it's one of the most visually unique 7th generation shooter. Today with a second look, of course, she was appreciated, but it's too late. And I think we ourselves are to blame for this...and that we are unlikely to see something similar again : (

People tend to dislike something different, stuff like this will always happen to unique games to some degree. I remember the canned Prey like Xcom game was getting negative attention just because it played differently.

I fucking LOVE the Kane and lynch series! They're just such great linear, story based shooter. Just as it should be. But yet perfectly gritty and fun. I always have these games installed to revisit.

it's trash but it's not trash at the same time... its the Kane and Lynch special but anyways rockstar did get inspired by the Kane and Lynch games based on how enemies died and how destructive the environment can get as well as the characters being Michael and Trevor were inspired by Kane and Lynch

Love the style of this game and it also had so much potential. But sadly, the gameplay is awful.

the gameplay isn't even that 'awful' in a sense that it spawns its own charm plus playing this game with just covering is just a boring way to play... you get an incentive to push enemies to do takedowns in both games unlike GTA 5 and even GTA 4 where it is very minimal but rockstar understood this with Red Dead Redemption 1
