As someone who had a melanoma and have a strong family genetic history to melanoma, I stopped using the skinmedica product after I saw your first video where you brought up the concerns about the growth factors. I did research and was concerned enough to stop using it

I use the Recovery as a skin repairing product and the TNS for cosmetic skin care. Recovery is shown to heal diabetic ulcers, heals skin after radiation treatment and it's oncology approved. Recovery doesn't have all the other helpful ingredients like TNS has for moisturizing and firming. I apply Recovery on a scratch or scrape and it's healed the next day! If I get irritation dermatitis from harsh products, I use it for a fast fix. Neogenesis has a YT channel and they have lots of photos showing it applied to only half the face after a chemical peel and how quickly that side was repaired vs the side without. I use Recovery under silicone eye patches overnight a few times a week. It soaks in completely so the patches don't slide around. If anyone does microneedling, chemical peels, gets irritation from retinoids or acids, the Recovery is amazing for skin repair!

I came to say the same. I also got frustrated dealing with TNS pumps that want to pump only one side in addition to pump failure that doesn’t pump at all 1/3 way in. The recovery serum is great with and after microneedling since it have minimal ingredients and higher concentration of growth factor. For daily use, I paired it with peptide serum which is included with the TNS serum. I usually use the recovery serum right after in office microneedling but will wait 24 hrs to use the TNS serum.

I’ve used the TNS, Neogenesis Recovery, and Neocutis GF serums and think Recovery is the best one. Interesting how every skin is different.

I like how light weight recovery is. I’ve nearly finished the 10 ml size and was debating getting the larger one. I haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin. Does TNS smell funny or deal heavy?

TNS doesn’t have a noticeable scent and isn’t heavy but definitely heavier than the Neogenesis Recovery.

Klairs is not a dupe at all, they cannot be compared. And frankly speaking klairs midnight blue serum doesn't do anything at all, used 2 bottles.

I couldn’t agree more with your experience! I tried the neogenesis full line for 90 days with weekly microneedling, and I saw absolutely no difference whatsoever! It was such an expensive fail. I can’t even describe how disappointed that is! I thought I had looked into it but months later I found out that they get some of their media from adipose (fat) tissue and some people theorize that that’s why it doesn’t work as well. Idk the reason, but I absolutely gave it as fair of a chance as anybody could, and I can say confidently that it didn’t even help in barrier support! SkinMedica is so much better!

Hands down any day of the week I'd recommend either the Reviv or the skin medica. Both showed much more benefits then the neogenesis. I'm not sure why this didn't deliver, it should have. My only guess could be the quality of the hcfm they used wasn't as good as the others.

Hey Sarah! Did you see peach and Lily came out with a new copper peptide serum? I think they said it was .2% copper peptide Which seems unusual considering the ordinary is 1% and Niod is 2%. Heck Niche beauty labs Theramid is 3% and VERY DARK BLUE AND I MUST SAY AHHHMAZING! 53$ I think and free shipping from Spain! Waiting for it to come back to get a backup

Really PL came out with a CP serum , I didn't see that and I'm usually up on the new products. I'm gonna have to check out the ingredients list . Have you tried the Revive serum yet ? I'm thinking about ordering that one . O I just reread your comment .2 % ??? Idk about that for their prices . I like PL but that's really low for like 50$ when u can find others like u said . I used this for almost a full year and I felt like it was definitely extremely hydrating, and upon application immediately improved the look of my skin (via hydration) but I couldn’t really tell if it did more than that or not (I took before and after photos and videos throughout the process). I liked it, but all in all, it was WAY too expensive for the 1 year results, in my opinion.

I'm going to have to try this brand because I've been hearing a lot about them but have yet to try them. It looks like they use a different type of growth factor- it is more similar to Bradceuticals' skincare products than it is to SkinMedica. Bradceuticals is a bit more affordable so that might be something worth checking out as well.

First of all, I must say I Wish I had a cabin on a lake to go to. That is amazing. I'd be up there all summer. Haven't tried Growth Factors, but would love to be able to use the TNS..oh well....But, I have a question if you don't mind. I'm using a Vitamin C from FaceTheory. It's a bit oily and I wonder, If I put it on first, will the oiliness make it hard for other serums to pass through Or should/can I use it on top of other serums, before sunscreen and moisturizer if needed? I know some say it should be the first product on during the day. Thanks much

You have to use the oil/propandiel based vitamin c OVER other water based serums or they very likely won’t penetrate past that oil barrier

Growth factors are great for anti aging, helping with texture issues, fine lines, firmness, and for some people can help with dark spots. The first time I used the skinmedica tns Serum within a week I was amazed how much younger my skin looked. I did not have that same experience with this product.
