@@KYTHERAOfficial Well, I'm kinda obsessed with compressors, saturators and so-called "mojo boxes" plugins. I test as many as I can, so I'm comparing what I'm seeing and hearing here with my personal experience with similar plugins. Simply put, this one has a good amount of controls to shape your sound without being overwhelming and unnecessarily complicated, and to me the tone-shaping sweetness it can generate is fairly well showcased in the examples in this video; you can clearly hear the richness of the tones and the malleability of the plugin. If you want a more technical explanation, I can't give you one. Even though I did one semester of Systems Analysis and Development at university, DSP wasn't the scope of the course.

i ran acoustic contrabass through wunderlich, its amazing how it brings out the detail on contrabass without muddying the low end, wunderlich to P42 is now fixed on my acoutic bass channel

Wow, wow, and wow. I had a chance to try this out today and it sounds fantastic. NEOLD brings a ton of value to PA subscription! "Travel" will take the edge off of any harsh VST with a simple turn of that little screw... Lovely saturation in this thing, and I like the compressor too. This is a hit!

Why would you need to boost the mid when you have subtractive control of the lows and high shelving filters, it’s not an eq

@@EdPettersen there is a mono version of the plugin .If you want to use it in dual mono just load the multi mono version and unlink . just tried it on Pro Tools and it works

Nothing special that wasn't invented before in other plugins. A few years later similar plugins will be released and they will also state that they are something ground breaking or revolutionary.
