@@pige0223 It's just different feature they used in Pacific rim. You know it isn't Evangelion adaptation, but more of just Mecha anime in Hollywood style? It is good idea to make 2 pilots that have to move synchronized, because it's interesting to see how they act with that, even though it is just a copy of this episode lol. And Jaeger's are actually TWICE as tall as Eva's. Evas are about 40m and Jaegers are about 80m. 2 minutes of Google can make you not to look dumb, try it next time.

I just love the little moments in this that convey so much. The bit where the camera cuts to Misato, she yells something and then the animation cuts to all of the ground forces unleashing hell on the angel that the two protagonists are fighting, the viewer realizes that Misato is desperately calling in fire support from every available unit in the area.

I definitely was digging this anime before this point, but for me, it was at this point that I was like “This show is a fucking masterpiece!” So great! I love how the music syncs with all of what’s going on and how the music is all you hear; especially when these battles are typically noisy, chaotic, and intense! Such an amazing scene! Pure bliss.
