I wouldn't recommend showing your friends the other trailer, but this one might persuade them away from the "boring" aspect.

thoughtful, provocative, moving. I got chills. unlike most amv's out there, they focus on action scenes with some emphasis on the shows dramatic scenes, but it all feels like hollywood'esk fodder, they are mostly impressive from a technical standpoint, such as editing and video quality,yet all the same seem to fail to convey nge's more poignant narrative nature, shinji struggled alot, kicked some ass on the way too; he struggled more than anything else, the other characters too and this trailer fits that aspect of nge perfectly.

I've never seen Evangelion but I've read some of the manga. This looks absolutely beautiful. I wish they would put it out on Netflix. Kind of reminds me of knights of Sidonia, which was the best Mecha anime series I've seen to date.

BlueOblivion Well to be fair the evangelion dub is pretty good all around, the only times it's shaky are the first few episodes (which makes sense since this was a relatively new dubbing company at the time) and the end of evangelion which...yeah I don't really know what happened there. Episode 9 or so onward is pretty quality stuff, the rebuild dub blows it out of the water though.

Unless you have the out of print DVD's, torrents are pretty much your only option. There are some good versions that have since been updated to HD after the Japanese NGE Blu-ray release and include the original dub as an audio option.
