neon indian glitzy hive slowed and reverb

Been doing this to a bunch of songs over the past year to hear a different version of them. For this song I actually prefer the slowed version

Why are we slowing every song and adding reverb? I really do not understand this fad.

it just gives the song a whole different ambiance, makes it sound like a more relaxed, chilled out version. i used to be confused by all the slowed + reverb songs too until i actually sat and listened to the whole thing - i dunno all the technical music thepry terms but its probably something to do with the key being different when you lower its pitch too

It feels like listening to the song again for the first time! It gives it a new ambiance like the person above me said.
