I mean, his music does remind me of Neon Indian (especially Gasoline), but for me it just feels too commercial. Meanwhile, Neon Indian feels more adventurous and more in control of his sound, which is basically the Second British Invasion with a modern, indie twist. In other words, the underground contains the best cooks!

This track. Just in time for Friday!!. I know Alan said in an interview that his laptop with the material to the album he was going to put out this time was stolen, and a lot of people have said that his new material sounds like it has skipped the transition from Era Extrana to VEGA INTL. Night School, but this sounds very Neon Indian and I'm really enjoying it. As tempted as I am to listen to the other tracks that have somehow "leaked" online, I'll just wait to be blown away as soon as it is out. I had the delight of going through Psychic Chasms and Era Extrana when they both came out :)

the night I saw him live was one of the best nights of my life ,, it was in Joshua Tree at Pappy and Harriets and my friend and I were exploring the venue and we found this "historical" place where they have shows in the daytime (but we were there at night) when it was finally getting close to him coming on we walked into the venue and there were all these hipster types (lol) . Lorde had been there a few weeks before that.
