This video goes over all the information you'll need about Special Dives.
neon❖Knights is a multiplayer roguelike game on Roblox. Players can find weapons and items, battle hoards of enemies, and challenge different bosses each area! As players progress they will be able to level up and gain new skills to help them.
This video of neon❖Knights takes place before full public release. The game is in ALPHA and will be paid access for 273 Robuxs on public release. The game will officially release on 11/26.

hey, if you fail do you lose an attempt, and if so, how do you get them back? do they reset daily or is it permanent

You can fail and it does count as an attempt. Each day you get 2 attempts per specific special dive that is available. Each day the special dives rotate and different regions and modes might be available. During this rotation you obtain 2 attempts for each available special dive. Don't worry about losing your attempts too much since rotations are daily. If you really want to do a bunch of special dives I'd recommend trying to met the requirements for them. Mainly reaching the specific regions in normal dives and level requirements. Hope this helps!

how do you get to the shallows?

After d3 boss fight there is an alternative path you can take. At the end of the path you can obtain a key item that allows the shallows to be accessed. If you need a visualization of where to go, my video on the topic of the forge and flux shows where.
