Thank you for spotlighting this rarely seen film. I played 'Slasher' in this film; yeah, that's me on the cover (with only one of my baby blues poking through)! Screaming Soup! I love this movie regardless of the poor writing. I'm guessing that they're from an alternate universe where violence is the norm, which is the reason for them killing people out of nowhere. The reason water is their weakness is because their world is nothing but deserts and canyons - kind of like a bizarre hellscape resembling the end of the world. I dunno, I'm just guessing. Anyway, I like the movie because of the maniacs, themselves.
