Maximum The Hormone seems to be heavily influenced by Japanese manga. It may be said that mixing manga and death metal will result in maximum the hormone.

Hello! Huge fan of MTH since 2011/2012 and one of the admin of the "fanwebsite" group on facebook, here! Thank you for reacting to this, really enjoyed it! Glad more and more people are reacting to them! I personally don't take offence if they get compared to other bands, also because a LOT of people judge them as the japanese system of a down. I didn't really listen to rage against the machine so I can't really tell what similar parts of them people seem to notice but I digress. About the anime..WELL.. they actually did made the second opening AND ending of the famous anime "Death Note" with the respective songs: "What's up people?!" and "Zetsubou Billy" ! People are gonna ask to react to ALIEN and probably even "Maximum the Hormone II, Let's talk about menkata cottele" so I won't suggest a lot at first but those are really good to introduce people to MTH! One of the thing I always try to tell to newcomers is that their reaction often gets taken down but lately it seems to have calmed down (we never know tho!). If you're interested in more MTH, I'm sure your community will have your back BUT there's something else I always bring up and that is that I have another channel where I upload MTH stuff: album, dvds, music videos.. etc! I only upload things that are hard to find (mostly older stuff, or things that MTH themselves don't have uploaded) on internet and with the best quality I can find it! Sadly those videos are unlisted so you can only find them by the playlists! The lead singer is fucking intense. He has some of the best growls and scream in my opinion lol. And I get annoyed after a while some screaming , and growls. His I can listen to forever. I have yet to get annoyed lol.
