Neon Rose - Primo / Waiting For The Train / Dead Eyes

Neon Rose was an awesome band. Conny Bloom (Electric Boys) was a member of the re-incarnated band in 1981. There's also a "best off" with a new track. The band re-united and recorded a new album (never released unfortunately) in 2000. Two tracks are on the best off (entitled "Dust And Rust And...") and another track is found on the bonus CD for the book: "The Encyclopedia Of Swedish hard Rock & Heavy Metal". There are some great live recordings out there, too, from the 70s.

@rubank Yes, I agree...they were fantastic! I own all the recent "previously unreleased" studio and live materiel as well. Besides Electric Boys, Conny also played with "Roadrats" (early 80s), the Finnish band "Hanoi Rocks", and "Silverginger 5".

@drprogensteinphp Cool! I wrote the "bio" for the "Dust And Rust And..." booklet and also did the artwork for the CD re-issues of all three albums (so now you may know who I am ;-)). Singer Roger Holegård works at the publishing company that has published my books. Both Roger and Conny has sung (and played) on my albums as well. I did a cover of "Love Rock" (one of my fa Neon Rose tracks!).

@rubank Janne Stark...is that you? Looking at your profile, the age listed is 33. I thought you to be at least 10-15 years on top of that ;) Another of my favourite Janne's is also a fellow countryman of yours...his name is Janne Schaffer. I still own all his solo LP's released during the 70's/early 80's. Great player! Love to hear your cover of "Love Rock" sometime! Were you ever a fan of Trettioariga Kriget?
