Guys, I love future gohan as much as the next guy, but yall need to realize he was never going to win, regardless if it was 1v1 or not. 17 and 18 were never going all out against gohan and trunks. If you pay close attention it's clear that they toy with gohan during the entirety of that final fight until the end when they get slightly more serious and obliterate him. Although he never had a chance, I think we can all agree that it makes it all the more poetic that he never gave up and kept fighting back until the very end.
