Hello, Madam I have question if baby weight is 10 kg full term baby,so for example fluconazole Trick 10×6=60 ml/dose we can give?
@learningpediatrics5347
@learningpediatrics5347 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Maximum weight of newborn is 4 kg. So Loading dose 12 mg/kg- trick =wt x6 as concentration of fluconazole is 2 mg/ml So 4x6=24 ml maximum Then maintenance 6 mg/kg daily od So trick wt X 3 (so for 4 kg 4X 3 = 12 ml daily)

Till 30000 wbc count , what it will be called ?
@learningpediatrics5347
@learningpediatrics5347 Жыл бұрын
white blood cell (WBC) count of 30,000 cells per microliter (µL) of blood in a newborn is considered elevated and may indicate an infection or inflammation in the baby's body. The specific term used to describe this is leukocytosis.
