Thank you-I have used microphone, I have increased volume (a tool online called videolouder)-I think it is okay on phone or laptop with headphone, but TV volume does not come out well. Hello sir. 3 years experience post MRCPCH for specialist pediatric licensing (you can work in a neonatal post, and get specialist neonatal license if they approve 5 years level 3 experience, including fellowship) My query with the above scenario is 1. The 3 year post MRCPCH experience. Where should I get it from. Dubai or India? 2. After completion of MRCPCH and 3 years experience. Is it ok to have that experience in neonatology? 3.Is it beneficial to have a neonatology fellowship in neonatology from India? 4. Post neonatology and MRCPCH The 5 years experience of level 3 NICU Should be done from Dubai itself?

Hi, the experience can be from India, and can be in neonatology. Fellowship will help show that it is level 3, and will count. You could try applying at entry if already 5 years in level 3 neonatal but approval might vary, in which case you can reapply once here

Once you get 3 years after MD, MRCP doesn’t add anything to licensing. I don’t think IAP fellowship itself will get neonatal license but possible after 5 years neonatal experience and interview (level 3)

Hi, I guess you trained in India. MRCPCH even after the clinical part completion does not provide path to consultant license here. Only CCT (UK) or DM (India) can lead to consultant license over time. If you already have MD or DNB, MRCPCH will not make any difference to license (specialist)-if DCH, you can get specialist license after 3 years of MRCPCH (with DCH alone, you can only get GP license).
