As someone who suffers from catatonia, though this song really isn't about the disability, I sure hope this song will bring awareness. It would be beneficial if more people knew about catatonia. Some of my biggest problems happen when people, especially medical staff, don't know what to do when I'm in a catatonic state. To top it off, I am unable to communicate when I am in such a state. If this song becomes more popular, perhaps people who are interested in what catatonia actually is will research it themselves.

THE DEATH OF DAISIES was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all killed it one more time! Thanksss a lot for this awesome album! Past Tense was sooooo deep idk if i got it right but this is what i thought it was... So the first verse is kinda realizing that the end is nearing and then u start to reflect on everything you've done and question if you're proud of the life that you've lived, the second verse feels like when you're in ur death bed and observe everything... the people around you, how care about you and if they would miss you once you're gone... The bridge feels like a flashback moment where you recount every experience you had... every moment of joy and every regret and how things could've turned out differently, things you wish would change but at the end of the day it's okay you have been who you are... smtg like this
