well, i think that they used to be a couple and he got jealous of the "purple butterfly" or gakupo, but no matter what he can't stop thinking about her and how they kissed and snuggled, so he tries everything to get her out of his mind (like their "history" ;3), but he eventually comes to a depressed state and just can't handle not having her anymore, so...i think he may have killed himself and she figured out at the last minute and cries ( this is only a guess (^～^;)ゞ )
