You do realize that this does not guarantee you safe products because pesticides are used during farming the crops so unless you're growing your spices there is no telling if your spices are 100% safe or not. These days from small farmers to big - everyone uses chemicals and pesticides to grow their crops.

My friend hav a food product factory. I was discussing with him about Fassai regulatory & inspection.......... He said once in a year Fassai used to come in his factory to inspect factory infrastructure & safety during renewal of Fassai license......... Rest of the year; NO inspection......... I think Fassai itself doesn't have enough manpower & infrastructure to look after the vast area of a country like India. Neither the state govt agencies conduct anything special.

Make the entire process seamless and transparent. Hash the samples so that outsiders can't track it. Randomize the sample collection and distribute it to various testing labs and further randomize it to individual testers. Then these testers post the results online in real-time and then the hash is decoded. So no one can be bribed and influenced this way. It is extremely easy to use blockchain to do this.

Why you are not showing true picture of FSSAI.....FSSAI increases default pesticide residue level in spices. The default limit for spices was increased to 0.1 mg/kg, as against the previous 0.01 mg/kg. The default MRL for other food products remains the same at 0.01 mg/kg.
