you mean the one that was supposed to sell him a tubeless tyre setup only to charge him 30 bux at the top of the mountain after the rider's tyre suffered a flat - even after being busted with failing to have not done it, having the gall to passively aggressively patronise the rider for not being able to fix his own flat. Make no mistake, the fact that this guy even has a shop with gear that even in developed countries where the cost of that level of bike costing several $ thousand is prohibitive, he owns one in Nepal no less where the vast majority of the population will never be able to afford it. Hopefully he partners with the communities the group riders pass by from a tourism perspective to help inject money for the locals.

@@willd0g late reply but at the end of the day it’s business init. The customer segment for him is mainly wealthy tourists, hiking/mountaineering specialists and rich natives. Regarding the tires, he wasn’t trying to patronise him at all, man was just flexing his skills for the camera. We can’t judge the man from a edited vid man, there was prolly some miscommunication behind the scenes regarding the tubeless tires.

Many don't know that Pikey peak is the best spot to enjoy the mount everest view along with other mountains. there's only one lodge before pikey you have to spend the night and hike to the top at 3am - 4am (depending upon the which month you're traveling) to enjoy the sun rise. Very underrated place, only hiking enthusiasts know to add Pikey to their list. Those mountains look near when you see them from the pikey, but if you see it in the map it's really far from it. Im going there again and Im thinking of getting into mountain biking, might take my bike.

Fantastic, thanks for taking us with you on your trip! It's usually some pro riders who share their trips to remote places like Nepal, but I much prefer seeing locals on their home country trails.
