@ThirdWorldNerd I liked the way you had presented it all. but I found a knowledge gap in 5:45 - 6:10, describing power capacity as the ability/inability to push the current through the wire does not constitute in actual mechanism. In every passive components, current is driven by resistance & voltage applied. Increasing the voltage should have burnt the nicrome wire similar to that of copper wire in 220V range. (Short-Circuit) Copper wire would also heat without melting if voltage is low enough. Public questioning ma arcing bhayeko equipment ko power source le limit gareko haina, tesko working component (active components in the electronics used) le limit gareko ho. Tyo second setup chai Taser gun jastai 12V to 1KV converter or similar equipment jasto lagyo where current is below 15mA. In such devices whether I use one 12V battery or multiple in parallel (increasing my power capacity) won't have any effect on Nichrome wire. (That limiting pipe analogy is not of the power source but the component boosting the voltage.) If you use a larger transformer capable of outputting 1KV, that same 1KV would burn the nichrome wires because there is no active component limiting the current flow. I hope you shall acknowledge it. I feel that many students shall follow you in days to come, and even a slight misunderstanding during start of their scientific journey shall make complications in long run. Best of luck in your future endeavor.

4:19 Nichrome wire bata sajilai dherai current bagna sakxa, but kasari. Ma kunai engineer wa science ko student haina, just school ma padheko kura ko var ma yo comment gardaixu. Resistance dher hunu vanekai current sajilai bagna nadinu haina ra? Nichrome ra Tungsten jasto high resistivity vayeko material le current lai sajilai bagna dinxa ra? Tei current sajilai bagna napayera chai heating effect dekhine haina ra? If I am wrong please correct me!
@Cooldude-mh9vn11 күн бұрын
suppose you have a pipe and water is flowing through it, then you have narrowed the middle portion of the pipe however when you see the amount of water that flows at the ends of the pipe is equal and so is the speed of the water same case pani current ma apply hunxa. resistor ko start ma jati current thyo teti nai current tesko end ma pani hunxa
@sammytimsina9 күн бұрын
We should not say current bagna napayeko heat ma convert hune bhanera. Its the exact opposite. Jati current bageko cha teti anusar heat niskine ho. Lets say for 220V le chalni heater (simple mato wala nichrome wire bhayeko heater), tesma 6A current bagiraheko cha bhane chai 1320W heat release huncha from the wire. ani to heat le nai wire ko temp badni ho. Finally if the temp is below the melting point of wire, wire lai kei hudaina tara badi bhayo bhane wire will melt, sometimes explodes too. Esma wire ko melting point bhanda le kaam garnu bhanda agadi wire ko resistance le khel khelcha. Because resistance limits the current for same voltage. Copper ko resistance kaam cha so 220V ma high amp (>1000A) bagcha so aago lagcha. In tungsten or nichrome, current kaam huncha ani tes anusar ko heat le melt pani garna sakdaina. Try with higher voltage and melt huna thalcha. So think of it as: Voltage Level & Resistance of wire --> Determines current Current --> Determines Heat output Heat output & Melting Point --> Determines whether wire paglincha ki nai.
@madxu0014 күн бұрын
Low resistance allow more current to follow where there is no limit .. like human body have low resistance so little current can shock us also current can flow more if you hold for more .. as for heating element it has more resistance so current flows as its resistance capacity it can though shock you if u hold live wire but when it is connected in heating element all current will follow through heating element itself while current will not give damm of you because it will get bigger hole to follow but not giving damm doesn't mean it will not give shock human is conductor small current will shock u untill you hold it and for heating element due to heat u cannot touch it😅 current and voltage both depends to shock you
@sammytimsina3 күн бұрын
@@madxu001 you got it wrong. Human skin have higher resistance and the heating element has lower resistance and thus current prefers to move in that heating element instead of the human body. Not all current flows through the heating element. We actually are creating a parallel connection when touching the wire. The amount of current in the parallel totals 100% current coming from source. If the current is above the limit, then we feel electric shock from simple muscle vibration to lethal ones.

The title, thumbnail, and the video content they all point to a different context. Try to be precise. This will confuse the viewers. Might reduce reach in long term. I'm writing this because I got confused. I only realized the gist of the video around the end of the video. Since the title and thumbnail are catchy, and the content is interesting, I assume your intention was to keep the viewer the viewer watching as long as possible, and to increase click rate as much as possible. I understand the need. As a viewer, I expect that the creator be at least precise with the title and conclusive with the thumbnail or at least not deviate from the actual context when putting thumbnail. These are my suggestions as a learning-viewer and if you want your channel to grow as an educational channel. As a supporting-viewer, I would say you are doing great, content is high quality (in terms of video), the voice over is great, really enjoyed it.
