That is so true about No Limbu party without pork. ‘Fak-Sa’ is life! 😀 In the most British town, my British Fiancé brought a whole pig carried by most English butchers to present to my Limbu family in our engagement party. That is what pork means in our culture. ☺️

While I have been to Nepal at least on six occasions, Newari cuisine is indeed quite unique comparatively speaking to other ethnic groups. Having said that Dal bhat tarkari takes the forefront in Nepali cuisine. Looking forward to my next trip. Happy to watch your vlogs! Jai Nepal, au bon vivant!

I’m loving your shows on Nepal,,,, my all time favorite eateries are locals especially the one located inside a cave kinda traditional cottages absolutely Newari, Lalitpur has an amazing number of the oldest eateries lie deep inside the warm & underground traditional cottages which serve the authentic Newari cuisines & liquors, other than these the roof top restaurants in Kathmandu is worth relaxing

Newars are d main inhabitant of d Kathmandu Valley. All d temples, shrines, gumbas, hitis(stone water taps), falchas(inns) were made by our ancestors. We newars are very famous for arts, culture n different cuisines. Nepal is recognised in d world only by us. We do very pride to our caste n ancestors. Thank u a lot for introducing our newari foods.
