We just got our power back a couple minutes ago, everyone is okay, I wish I could say the same for our deck though 😆

Yikes, yes I've seen planks and wooden fences just thrown. We are still without power. Almost 48 hrs now.

Yes, I love the area - bordering right on the greenbelt. The horizon is clear, air smells terrific, all the trails and paths nearby, low noise, even that field leading out to the road is special.

I think 6 or 7 people died. Probably from falling trees.

@@JarrettWalksOttawa my son also studying in ottawa 5 days have been passed, tgere is no power, its really very hard n tough time for forign students, hope 4 power soon

Hope it comes on soon! There are places to get help (maybe contact his ward in Ottawa or the city at 311). Emergency assistance is available too.
