The most demoralising thing for me is spending your hard-earned coins on cards, only for them to tank 5 minutes after you buy them. And this is the exact reason that I NEVER buy cards anymore. I have run a first owner RTG for the past few years and sure, I may not get to try all the cards that I want, but that doesn't really bother me as it's so easy to get a good first owner team these days. All the coins I make go into SBCs and EVOs, which is a much more fun and personal way for me to run my account. Obviously... each to their own. Love all the series Nep. Normally software engineers will program logic into a game to connect to a server based on several parameters, it might have to do with the number of players already on a server, or your latency, your geographical location, etc. So you are right, sometimes you might be routed to a server that has less than optimal connectivity and gameplay will suffer because of that. Sadly companies tend to try and minimize cost and will provision the minimum capacity they can get away with and will only scale if performance reaches a threshold they deem necessary to adress.

Crazy Nep calling anyone who believes in DDA 'braindead'. It's literally a blatant mechanic in the game, presumably implemented to allow the trailing team a chance to get back in the match. It's especially noticeable when 2-0 up, defending suddenly becomes impossible. More explicit examples though are e.g. when trying to keep possession, after ~5mins your players inevitably make a wayward pass (this is dynamic adjustment of stats to cause you to lose the ball, and allow your opponent a chance to get it back).

Fully agreed, and is 10x more noticeable in the last 5 minutes of the game. Worst thing you can do with a 1 goal lead is try and pass the ball around, because the DDA kicks in hardcore and your opponent is nearly guaranteed a goal. You're forced to just keep booting the ball out and park the bus.

I believe dda or something of the sort is very much real and implemented into the game. I could not stress enough how noticible it seems to me when 2-0 either up or down. It is making the game very unenjoyable since i have a lot less motivation to take the lead knowing after i go 2 or 3 goals up my players will just take bad touches, passes become very inacurate etc. I doubt this could be caused by a bad server since this dynamic changes throughout the game

As a casual player myself I've been saving for weeks and also spent a few fifa points trying to get Hazard. I finally managed to get him at 740k not even a week later he's now 500k and that 240k was so hard to get for myself. Maybe they need to make coins easier to get or more of them per game

I literally never buy cards for this reason - the other being I like having first owner everything if I can. I just use them on an occasional store pack or an evo. Like you say, work too hard to lose them on a card that’ll be obsolete in a few weeks time.

Just a concept but i feel there should be a market for just promo cards where if you pack them you sell to EA. If you want to buy them there is a EA store where you can buy with just coins. You can sell back but with a 5% tax

Hey nep. U mention “restarting evo’s”. I was always under the impression that since a patch in FC24 you can now only evo 1 version of a players card for the whole game cycle. So if I have James Maddison, I evo him, then his gold card is better suited to a different evo, even if I quick sold my Evo’d one I can’t evo his vase gold card again as I’ve already done it. In forms and special cards count as different version however so they are allowed. Please tell me if this is wrong, thank u keep up the great content. From a fellow Craig 👍🏻

Hi nep I did start an norwich evo and a man u evo but now im just doing players I want to use and im using the 3421 like almorim and im enjoying using precision shooting makes me feel better for the goals I score in div 3 taking each game as it comes I got elite 1 in squad battles last week hope I get it again I don't do fut champs cause of the mental strain of it which im willing to loose out on that. U do what u want to do with your coins and players and use who you want in the game arsenal or not just make it enjoyable in your way keep up the good work

I'm 93-1 in friendlies, not sure what the matchmaking is or how they do it, but I rarely match anyone that is really good. I am a 900 SR and 13/15 win player though, but I figured with a high elo I would play other players with a high elo.

please discard nwaneri and start a new evo for him. i didnt put him into hey jude and now i have a 78 rated card that is much better than yours (no offence). And on your main channel vid you were talking about how EA are ruining evos with the stat limits etc. just take a look at martinelli, put him in the dinho one and he gains 4 rating with good stat upgrades, put him in acrobatic star or any of the other bad evos that came out this week and he becomes 86 rated with only like plus 5 in finishing and strenght.

Damn I really wish you didn't put Mariona into that Evo. Just for the fact as you said, the fear of missing out on a better upgrade. I think she is insane in game don't know what you thought about her at 85, but I honestly think your path with a different Evo would have turned her into a demon. She feels as easy to play with as Putellas 91. I have Watt and I turned down evos on her for the path that I used to get her to 88, and she's now incredible. I think your "fear of missing out on better evo's" instinct was a better way to go. I think people also forget how much of an impact body type has on control of players. I don't know if that's still a thing but I feel it is with the likes of Watt, Salvio from Lunas etc. Hope this doesn't come across wrong, love your content mate always helps me and your knowledge the game and understanding it is underrated by a few in your community I think.
