Nice little event. You complete some SBCs, play some games with two special cards, only need 3 wins for the event (instead of 8 or 10 which is nonsense), etc. You can wrap it all up in 10-12 games. Decent rewards to be fair. Nothing crazy. Just a fun twist for the weekend. 10/10

Oh you mean the LFF - "Event" for me is the whole things not just that section. You still need to play more than 12 matches total for the promo objectives because you've got to win 3 LFF and do at least 12 in SB/Champs/Rivals as well

This event is poor. Gate keeping the objectives over 4 days to keep log in numbers up. Poor pack rewards, much rather have player rewards of some kind. Friendly mode not available till tomorrow. Was hoping for something a little different. Better rewards. Market is dead so what does it matter if the reward is an 88x3. Son went from 200k 2 days ago to 130k this morning. Just another poor attempt at keeping players engaged

Completely skippable event imo. Rewards are very mediocre, although easy to get. The whole event just feels pointless.

I know this will be the typical FUT comunity is never happy take but I am not a fan of the gifted Ballon d'Or players. Feels like glitchy stuff happens most with more difference in overall/stats, so this week everyone has two monster cards to deal with those interactions rather than a normal weekend where it takes someone being very lucky or being able to afford insane cards. Went from facing an Mbappe once every 5 games or more to facing him every game. Makes me want to just wait for these cards to be expired before grinding anything outside of squad battles.

they should've restricted these loans to a friendly mode like the evo arena objective. maybe limit them to just rivals max but they shouldn't be allowed in weekend league. these cards will just make the best teams even better while screwing over RTG players.

Love this event - have to say I wouldn't want it regularly though, otherwise what's the point of getting good cards if you got this every weekend? But giving people ridiculous cards, themed on a real life event which everyone gets at the same time and then you get decent but fairly balanced rewards back for playing with them? That's cool EA, the gameplay is shit this year but that is a real nice event. I took Bellingham & Bonmati. I'm doing my Birmingham evo team, I'm definitely not playing champs this weekend (I don't have the time) but I'll do a bunch of squad battles and rivals, and the SBCs when I'm not home. But I've reworked my shape to get bonmati in at CAM, then Jude as CM and I evo'd Jobe's trailblazer card so I've got the bellingham brothers in there. Still blues themed except for Bonmati. Great stuff.

If you want to play champs which I don't intend to do this weekend taking Mbappe is sadly the most obvious option but after a few games in rivals I honestly think Hansen will be the bigger problem to deal with she is a joke and I have not seen a card getting this many rebounds, you can basically run in a straight line and be through on goal with her.

This may be controversial. But i actually hope this replaces TOTY. Because of how good the cards are in TOTY and how everyone saves hundreds of good packs. The game dies every year because everyone has their ‘ultimate team’. Replacing it with tbis for those players that were the best last year is a good way of adding longevity to this game

As someone who has both spent and fully grinded this game , I think this is a terrible promo. It’s November and every single person is running around with 95 rated cards for the weekend? What’s the point in grinding for the best possible team all week to get into weekend league against these players? I don’t disagree with the promo , but make it Monday - Thursday , not over weekend league. It’s sweaty and competitive enough without people using OP cards at this stage of the game… for casual/average players this weekend will be great , but once these expire and they are back to their usual team they will be back to hating this game.
