Hi Nephi ! Just want to let you know that as much as you're in love of many of my country's singers, I can say the same to yours. I just got to know about Katrina Velarde through youtube by accident and that's the beginning of my admiration of her. I know Phillipines has never short of powerhouse vocalists but I genuinely love Katrina Velarde, she sounds just like the Western Singers (I mean this in the good way). And finding your reaction about her is validates my admiration for her vocals.

The second time she did this medley, she was even better. Kyla is good but she can’t hold a candle to Katrina. I have never been so overwhelmed with so much power since Regine and Whitney were in their primes. Haven’t seen the Philippines for 27 years and I feel like going back just to watch this girl perform. I’ve seen those ladies in ASAP sing and they’re good, but they’re not at this level IMO.

Just wondering if you have any blogs about your experience while being there, I’m one of your avid fan and Katrina is my number one favorite Philippines 🇵🇭 singer in her generation. I’ll be in Philippines next month and I’m hoping I can make it to metro walk just to see her. I’ve seen her by the way last April here in Los Angeles with Gary V on his tour, she’s one of Gary’s side kick 😜 I even managed to snatched her for a selfie 🤳 and she’s very nice and gracious love her a lot.
