I want to say that the harsh aspects can work both ways. Venus square Neptune can also cause the wrong people to believe that you are interested in them when you aren't. I have had a few friends think that my kindness was a sign of me liking them and wanting to date them, and in reality, they were not even my type at all and I never had a thought about them in a romantic way. Its interesting aspect.

I have the conjunct right over my 8th House Cusp. I call it the “dream lover aspect.” Neptune is much more humanitarian and compassionate and romantic glamour/illusion. A lot of people people believe me to be someone I’m not. They get to know me and realize I’m just an ordinary person. Then they feel like they were “tricked” or fooled. I’ve met people with the square or the opposition and they frequently complain about their boyfriends or girlfriends “pretending to be someone they’re not.” One thing I found very consistent about my conjunction is that I recognize the “real person” behind the glamour or first impression...and I’m able to forgive it. I don’t see it as deception, I recognize it for what it is. It’s confusing to me that others can’t forgive imperfections. There’s a difference between deliberate deception and illusions or misunderstandings. Just because I see a person a certain way doesn’t mean s/he IS that way.

Mar Y Sol : Same with the conjunction. I suspect that people see Neptune-Venus natives as romantically idealized/fantasy figures. Most people WANT others to appreciate them and be attracted to them even if they themselves don’t entertain serious intentions to those people. So they see what they want (Venus) without seeing the compassionate detachment (Neptune).

Yes totally true. I have the trine between them and I am a romantic and dreamer since a very young age. My neptune in 12th house in Sag sextile Venus in Libra. Although it's a sextile, I don't understand why I relate to everything you said on such an intense and visceral level. I give, give and give without any expectations to get anything in return, it's like there's so much love in me for that person that it never goes out, im fine with it, I see only the good side of theirs, idealizing them, my longing is so intense that I have to convert them to my painting and classical music and poetry. I feel like if you love someone, shouldn't every note of music, every poetry, every word in a romantic song remind you of that person? You should love that person so much that you physically feel the pain when you miss them, shouldn't you? Something that forces you to incorporate them into you life no matter what, do anything just so you can see a smile on their face, makes you feel not just butterflies but the whole damn forest dancing in your stomach, making your knees go fluid, makes your heart beat with such intensity that it feels like death and rebirth every time you think of or be with them, makes you wanna give your heart as a gift as it no longer belongs to you anymore.... Unconditional is a word that doesn't even measure up to the intensity of love you feel. It myt be seen as a weakness but in my opinion it is the biggest strength a human can display. Shakespeare captures my definition of love pretty well, "My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep. The more I give to thee, the more I have, For both are infinite." In this fast paced world do we even have time for normal love? Normal love is like mashed potatoes. Wouldn't you rather have duck l'orange, bouillabaisse, croquembouche, so on?

I feel being split into two people. One is like what you mentioned in the video. I even ordered a relationship report from astrolada. com for me and a guy I talked in a forum online whom I never met. The other is realistic, rational and practical. I actually have cut off the communication with that guy I mentioned above before I ordered the report. I told myself this is not working. Venus in Capricorn 04:35 Neptune in Capricorn 10:25 I do not enjoy some of these undertones and am definitely prone to idealizing certain women in my life and they are almost either exclusively unavailable or remote. Either that, or I end up in a platonic relationship. But I do not get fooled by my own romantic ideals and am fully aware of them because I practice a lot of self-reflection. I definitely experience very intense emotional connections with other people, though. Funny you mention the arts, because I do channel this influence through music, both in listening and making. I have both Venus and Neptune conjunct at 28 degrees in Capricorn (with Mars a few degrees away). I have had many beautiful dreams of my soulmate all through my life. In your opinion, how lasting can be the effect or the change that comes with transiting Neptune trine Venus (in 3 degrees it will be exact) (natal Venus is exactly conjunct AC)? My venus is in the 12th house conjunct to my Cancer rising that is opposite of Neptune in my 7th house. That venus opposite Neptune aspect is a part of a water grand kite with Neptune at its pentacle. My love interest has this aspect in the trine in his natal chart. We also have this trine aspect in synastry together at 1°. He has a stellium in my fifth house. My 5th house is both leo and virgo with his venus saturn and moon in leo and his mercury and sun in Virgo. I have Venus conjunct Neptune in Capricorn in the 8th house. And I'm also a Pisces Sun. Lol! So you can't take the love out of me. The combination of that and the 8th house gives it even a stronger desire for an intense emotional and spiritual connection. But at least Saturn and Chiron trines that Venus and balances it.

Hi :) On the beginig I want to say that you are great!:) I've been watching this video becouse my husband has a opposition. I don't see this qualities in his character maybe becouse he has very strong pluto in horoscope so he hide this side of himself?:) But I was very surprised becouse this video discribe me in 100% I don't have this aspect but I have Venus in 12 house. Hi Venus in the 12th has the same energy as Venus aspect Neptune, I think you husband expresses his Venus Neptune through you-Venus is the wife/gf in a male horoscope. Often males project their feminine planets and get to experience them through the women they are with, while women project their male planets(sun, Mars) and get to experience them through the men they attract. But your husband carries this energy, he just does not own it consciously and therefore he attracted you, someone with a Neptunian Venus(in the 12th house-Neptune rules the 12th house)
