This put such a huge smile on my face! I know Jackie has wanted to travel back to Japan, but the pandemic and her back surgery put that on hiatus. It's so lovely to see that she's made her dream happen! Crossing my fingers I can make my dream mini-cation happen after nearly a decade of staying at home because of my chronic health and back issues. I'm only 33 dammit, and I'm going to make it happen!

Here in Germany there's always a special fry at McDonald's, which changes about every month. They have curly fries, waffle fries etc. The standard sauce for those is sour cream with chives. I love it! I've been vegetarian for a few years and they finally have a fake meat burger (McPlant) and fake chicken nuggets now. Both are pretty good! We also have the McRib year round and vegan chocolate ice cream!

I'm Canadian and I've always eaten my burgers and sandwiches "upside down" it just makes more sense for my brain, the toppings hit my tongue first not the meat and its a better texture and flavor experience!! :D Love your videos Jackie!!

Hey. I'm in New Zealand and i would do the same thing when placing a burger down, to put it upside down. For me this makes it a bit easier to pick up again as the sides are now raised off the surface a bit. Also you can pick it up with your fingers placed on the underneath part, which is easier imo, and then when you bring the burger to your mouth is the right way up!

My so-called weird food combo....which I'm finding out isn't that weird after all.....is dunking French fries in a chocolate shake. I first tried it at Wendy's (my first ever job in high school), and have loved it ever since. When at Wendy's, I use the chocolate frosty (the OG and best frosty) and their somewhat thicker fries, but it does work with other restaurants as well.

When placing a burger down while eating, it depends on the burger bun. If the bottom bun is pretty soggy, then I will set it down bottom up in order to even out the bun's soggyness....lol.

Not sure if all Aussies put burger upside down, but I do. My Macca's fav's are the mozzarella sticks with tomato chili relish, and the chocolate pies. Both are like seasonal specials. Weirdly enough, our paddies are thicker than those of what you ate.

Aussie gal here. I've been dipping my fries in the ice cream for almost 40 years, since I discovered it while pregnant. I have to say though, I've never heard of the ketchup & ice cream thing. Totally want to try that now. 😃

I’m Australian and I’m pretty sure I don’t put my burger upside down when I put it down but now I’m second-guessing my whole burger eating strategy as it’s been so long since I had a burgers that I’m now trying to work out if I do do it or not 😂😂😂😂 but my McDonald’s combo is doing a salted caramel Frapuccino with crushed Oreos which taste amazing and also doing a budget friendly/less bread, big Mac version. I order a cheeseburger without the mustard and ketchup and just add lettuce and then order Big Mac sauce on it or order it as a side sauce and then put it on my burger and it works out cheaper than ordering a big Mac and as I’ve heard weight loss surgery I can’t eat a lot of bread so cutting that middle part of bread out and also an extra meat patty out. It works great

I just discovered how to make a walnut pie and it calls for homemade maple syrup with my husband's family also makes it's really delicious it's similar to a pecan pie. We also have a cherry tree so I love experimenting with that as well❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I've always preferred the cherry over the apple pies, but they are seasonal. 🍒 We have some burger joints in town that serve eggs on burgers. The strawberry pie looks good. Michigan we have the strawberry crème or blueberry crème along with apple(when available). Normally the ice cream machine is broken and they are out of apple pies

Tomato's are berries. They are an actual fruit. So it should be good! And I'm from the USA. Also, avocados are berries. They make AMAZING ice cream. Soooo good!

Not sure what we had exactly in Germany since the menue changes the special items very fast but last time I had been to McDonalds we had a Oreo-pie so it was like a apple-pie but black, tasted like chocolate and was filled with a vanila pudding/cream. We also sometimes had a burger in the past called "Big Rösti" which has a potato-thingy, I think in America people call it "hash brown" in it. I don't remember too many of the special items tho cause I barly go to McDonalds and they are not there for that long if these items are sold

I was kinda hoping the Samurai bun would be black and/or red to match the wrapper. 😊 The pie brings back memories. I’d love to try McDs in Japan and elsewhere - especially their seasonal menus. I’ve see a TikTok of Japanese girls emptying their ketchup and mustard directly into their nugget boxes then shaking the closed box up to get sauce covering everything. I’ve not seen anyone else try that! Not McDs, but when I was younger I used to love peanut butter and golden syrup sandwiches. I used to eat at McDonald's. Because I'm now a vegetarian. Been a vegetarian for a while. If McDonald's ever was to get a vegetarian menu. I'd go back and eat there. My used to be favs is the big Mac. Love the fries. Also the nuggets. I don't have any weird combos.

When I was a kid I lived in a different city than my sister in my hometown we really didn't have fast food restaurants but when she came, to where I lived we would go to this place called Wendy's and they had tiny dishes ice cream that was chocolate . I can't remember what they call it and we would dip our from fries in there. It was kind of a treat going out to eat back in the day in the era that I grew up❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
