As much as I agree that they wouldn't have lived I don't think it would have happened to everyone because Dories broke all the rules with the first time she used it. 1) Used it on her own 2) Played in a graveyard. The mom didn’t follow the rules, and neither did the sister. Before Doris played with it, the spirits already possessed her to answer the mom’s questions downstairs. The mom was also playing alone, above a graveyard, and didn’t say goodbye when that happened. The sister didn’t say goodbye when she played with her friends. Doris was the last one of the three to break the rules, and also the only one who didn’t know of the rules at all.

nothing will happen. like explained in this video, it's just people responding to movement that happens naturally, making them form the answers by moving the thing. the biggest proof of this, is that the ouija board does not work while you're alone. and honestly, if ghosts were real, we would know by now. do you honestly think there isn't a single ghost going "I'm gonna show I'm real just cause"?

I thought it was messed up how the "Devil's Doctor" got away with his crimes and was never either punished (by earthly means) or forced to haunt the place as a spirit or something. Instead, his victims just became the demonic spirits.

I hate to break it to you, but that was most of the Nazi doctors. They largely got away with what they did outside of a few names. The only thing that really bothers me here is that the spirits are even vengeful. It's not like the family were descendants of the doctor or supported it. These spirits spent decades living with that family and you'd think that would give them some semblance of empathy, but who knows maybe the family were pieces of shit.

I always find it quiet interesting that movie makers put in daemons and monsters, but never seem to then go a step further and think about the implication it would have on atheism and religion. IF suddenly a daemon would come out of another dimension (and by logic it wouldn't just be 1 case, there would be several scaterd around the globe), it would mean there is a whole other dimension, probably heaven and peobably hell and a (or several) God. It would completely shift how we see ourselfs. TBH if I had real proove, I would start to believe in a God. Now, I'm not religious or anything, but it would make for a very interresting concept for a trilogy or series.

Yeah, plus, since the underworld/hell or some such would then exist, and there's clearly a path to walk between them (demons can come here, so we can go there), they could do the final film as a dante's inferno, voyage of hell kinda thing. It'd be cool since in the first film you'd get to know the characters and get introduced to demons in that world, then watch it slowly build. The Evil Dead films are a bit like that, with each film exploring the universe further, not just being a repeat of the first film

I mean… there technically might have been a way that everyone might’ve been able to survive, though based on the scene at the end I doubt it would truly work. Still buy the ouija board, but instead of using it make a fake one that seems older and authentic like was suggested in the video. Have something slightly different from the ouija board that you have reference to in order to not make it an official board, but not too different that people would question its legitimacy (maybe don’t put glass in the center seeing thing). Then discard or burn the original ouija board before anyone can try to use it, thus summoning a demon.
