Hey guys! The style of this video is a little different, I wanted to try something new. This workbench has already served me great, and I expect it do to for a long time!

Thanks so much guys!:) Ciao Martina!: D Ps. I can also recommend some youtubers who most or less share your and our nerd passion, The Ben Heck Show (in my opinion the monster hack) and DIY Perks! :)

Hey great video, nice job, the only thing that I think it would be better is using 5 instead of 6 trofage storages, in one side middle one left empty so you can work on desk in chair and you would have space for legs and be closer to the desk :D Greetz from Croatia :D

Handy simple workbench! Using those drawer cabinets are a good option for storing small things in my shop, thanks!

Simple and effective. Looks great, too; not looking like a pine board workbench is nice.

Much cheaper and far more sturdy to build carcass from 3" x 2" Scant PAR pine, and skin it with 1/4" plywood. I do not trust chipboard. Would be rock solid and leave enough cash to fit the bench with 240v sockets and emergency power cut off for power tools.
@BraxFilm7 жыл бұрын
I agree, but this can be done with a saw and a screwdriver basically. I guess thats a valid point as well.
@mrbadx197 жыл бұрын
normally, i would agree with you. maybe they are not going to build their next house using that bench. they make smaller projects. if you are going to do larger projects, a steel based workbench would be suitable. my dad had a heavy duty work bench 40 years ago, this is flimsy next to it, but we were building up a house, not little projects.
@mrbadx197 жыл бұрын
he still has that bench, hasn't been used in a while, he's 79 now...

No way on the LED strip prices! Some strips for $2! And 5 meters worth! At a local store in the U.S. those types of lights are WAY more! But yeah, used your link to buy some. :) Great project also by the way.

OMG, six tables at $30 each. That's $180 for those who haven't done the math. You could have bought enough plywood for the same cost to make 2 of these desk and sell the second to cover 50% of the cost of just making one.

$30x6 in the beginning, you already lost me. $180 + extra materials + $99 countertop + time = not worth what you ended up with.

This project is definitely cool, but unfortunately also unrealistic and hardly DIY. The price of the 6 shelving units and countertop alone is about 280 dollars. For that price, you may as well just buy a pre-built desk and add some modifications to fit your needs. That would probably be way cheaper and easier.

I recommended these screws to connect the parts together, www.amazon.de/dp/B00TQQBF08/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_Pt2Tzb9F8T424. They are simple in use and you can assemble and unassemble the whole piece as often as you wish if it's necassary without any damage.

This is a cool Project but I think you would of spent less money and about the same amount of time building it from scratch. But if all you have are light weight tools you want to store then the plastic drawers are ok I guess. LED's are cool I give you that, but not on my work bench.. lol Id break em fast.

As an electrichian, I get so triggered by the fact that you're using the wrong cable, and that the cable clips and the cable going between the outlests isn't straight.
