For Jackie (and anyone curious): hot pink bag - inspired by Chanel 2.55; green bag - Balenciaga City; brown monogram one - loosely based on Louis Vuitton Neverfull, colorful monogram - doesn't resemble any particular bag, the pattern is supposed to be similar to Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore; yellow & tan one - Celine Trapeze; cheetah print - might be inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Sicily, bucket bag - too generic, might be either Loewe Balloon or Luis Vuitton Noe; metallic pink - Lady Dior. Perfume bottles are pretty generic, sunglasses too but pretty sure they wanted them to resemble Ray-Ban Wayfarers and the compact powder has a pattern on the lid that looks vaguely like Dior's Cannage motif.

I am no fashionista, but these are actually pretty cool! Since I'm still very much a child at heart, I immediately pictured the bags in a miniature version of an Ikea Kallax shelf, each in their own compartment, and you could use the stickers to make the shelf look more full. Small led lights to back light the shelf. And for some reason, I pictured three polymer clay mice (or would Sylvanian family toys match the scale?) wearing the sunglasses (maybe painted different colours), getting dressed up to go out. A whole mini scene. Also, the empty balls would be a great base for christmas baubles or mini scenes of some kind. The possibilities are endless. 🤪 (And now I realize I've gone too many days without a good crafting session. 😃)

I think the issue with rares is that it’s not necessarily that they’re stingy. I don’t know the seeding rates for sure, but regardless even if they were 1/4 or something, there’s no guarantee that you’d get a rare if you bought 4. That’s just not how stats work. Especially buying them in a store, it’s possible there’s some way to tell if there’s a rare in them (like weighing Pokémon cards to look for holos) and people are scooping those up first.

The very *first* Mini Brands that I had bought, in series 1, I had gotten a GOLD/RARE Heart Emoji Pez Dispenser. The second one I opened, I was okay with. I hardly bought more after that. I didn't get many rares, but I still wasn't disappointed. I was really *really* eager to get more. And I did get a few more rares/ultra rares from Series 1.

I had the same thought! But I was watching Jackie unbox a different set of miniatures and she explained her reasoning: in Japanese miniature blind bags, if you order the whole box set it comes with the complete set. Like no duplicates, one of each mini. So when she orders full sets from North American manufacturers she's salty bc she'll likely never get a whole set (and LOTS of duplicates).

Hey fellow spoonie! I hope you recover well. I get back problems every time I go from stuck in bed to moving around again, learned a trick that if you just tweaked it and don't have a herniated disk or anything permanently wrong you can reset things by forcing the muscles around the area to work to let your brain know it doesn't have to protect the area. Mine's always my lower back so I can do the suitcase carry with a jug of water and it solves it. It's so strange that it actually works. I hope your back pain is a simple problem like mine.

I'm pretty impressed to be honest. I expected the bags to look cheap and have a shitty paint job, but they look fantastic. I wouldn't mind only getting commons because they all look so well made and cool. Real littles has a thing like this too! It's not little items with faces like I recall their food stuff being, but I got a real fabric bag (sort of like American Girl Doll scale?) With all the stuff already inside! It actually came with a real tiny bottle of nail polish, nail file, and nail stickers! Plus some other cool stuff like a bag charm and a tiny plastic smartphone with different cases you can swap out! I found it super cute, personally.

As a person who has a bag fixation, these are pretty darn good! Obviously mini brands could not get copyright for the high end designer bags since they deal with their own. If I can remember them all, the pink one with the color designs on it that you got 2 of is a LV bag. The brown one that the dog came with is the Neverfull from LV. I have that with the pink /rose interior (knock off. I don’t have money for real). The bucket bag that cinched I also have and it’s by Calvin Klein, but it’s a popular style for many brands. The hot pink bag with the chain looks like a simplified version of a Balenciaga bag (which, ready for this, is $4000). The green one might be a Coach one as they have launched a colourful line, but I’ve not seen that anywhere. The last one you opened I think might be a Gucci but could be Balenciaga. I’m stumped on the cheetah print one as not many high end bags go with that type of look, but it’s also not a look I like so I don’t really notice them. I have to say the chain details, hands, closures, even bag charms impressed me. I think the fake LV ones could have had linining in them, but that’s being very picky. The accessories were cute! The sunglasses, the compact/mirror and the lip glosses, but I agree-they should have had little make up bags, cell phones, tiny designer wallets that could hold fake money. I can see the doll customizes really loving these to use with their dolls as accessories.

I just got two balls yesterday for my rainbow high dolls and yes...I'm confirming the perfumes are scented. I wouldn't have checked if not for this video but they totally are! Also that zipper they put outside the ball is some kind of demented Saw trap. Surely someone at the company has recognized they're impossible to open??

Well it just so happens that I also have that same purse with the nail polish and perfume that you were curious about I sniffed it I got my whole family to sniff it, and guess what they all thought it smelled and I thought so too! Yup uha 100% it has a little sent to it!
