I was in a toy shop recently and saw "The World's Smallest" brand miniatures of real toys, FULLY FUNCTIONAL! Like monopoly, connect four, spongebob, even a Bop It! They included accessories to actually play the games. I'm not sure if they were to scale or not, but if you can get your hands on them, they are awesome!

Tiana is my favourite it's so annoying she gets excluded alot of the time on merch and promos. Yikes to the lack of diversity in this set they do sell those types of dolls of Mulan, Jasmine, Tiana and Moana. So absolutely no excuses not to include them.

@@puppykitten1557 Nah, PATF is my favorite animated Disney movie from my childhood. Maybe it's not that great and I'm just looking back on it fondly bc of nostalgia lol but I honestly think it was a really good movie. Absolutely great soundtrack, amazing animation, and good themes. (including one of the best supportive female friendships ever shown in disney) My big reason for why I think she's underrated (besides the obvious diversity issues) is that PATF was the last 2-d animated movie Disney ever did in a time where 3-d animation from the Pixar branch was taking over, and it was the last project of the Florida studio before they shut that studio down for good. It also didn't make very good money because it was obscured by other movies on its theatrical release date. I don't think her being a frog for a lot of the movie is the big problem, I think it's more that the company absolutely fumbled the ball on promoting it and didn't give the studio branch enough funding or support. Plus it was a relatively recent movie (early 2000s) and a more original concept, not fully heavily based on an already existing fairy-tale, and I think those traditional fairy-tale type movies and merchandise do better in general because they're more widely known and distributed. They're familiar to more people and include a wider audience of adults and older people who grew up being told them. Though the princess and the frog myth predates it, I think Tiana's story was more creative and unique.

I just never really saw it as a big reason for her being less popular myself, especially since she could still talk and express her personality and assert herself as a strong character. (Better than Ariel could anyway, since she spent most of her movie mute) But agreed! Honestly super refreshing that Charlotte and Tiana come from such different backgrounds but are mutually supportive and helpful to each other, it's kind of uncommon to see really healthy strong female friendships in a disney film. Naveen wasn't the strongest character for sure, but disney managed to do the impossible and actually give him a believable character arc and decent enough development that he didn't feel 2-dimensional, and didn't just pop up in the end of the movie as an unexplained perfect love interest, which is a problem they often have

I worked for years as a graphic designer creating artwork for Disney licensed products being sold by major retailers, and we were actively discouraged from using the "fringe" princesses because they didn't sell as well. The priority order of usage was; 1.) Cinderella 2.) Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) 3.) Ariel 4.) Belle 5.) Snow White 6.) everybody else, but only in group poses You'll find the "lesser" princess products in the Disney specialty stores and at the theme parks, but in the usual retail stores, not so much.

17:11 to me the Ratio of Tinkerbell vs. the Recurvebow seems about right. Since the Bow is meant for humans and not Fairy. I think she might be as tall as a human Forearm. And the Crossbow must be almost be as long as a full stretched out Arm. Therefore it would make sense for the Bow to be a bit taller. And to give the "paintjob disabled" Minis a proper makeover, I suggested in one of your previous videos already. I really would like to see it an real project.

The fact that the last one was all duplicates. 😂 The duplicate ratio is one of the main reasons I don't buy as many of these the whole surprise toy thing is fun on paper but expensive especially if you get duplicates. I would however consider getting some of the Japanese ones if there ratios are better plus I've seen videos of a few the quality is far superior.

Re-Ment you can buy the sets directly and yeah they're excellent quality. I'm not certain if that's just because of resellers on eBay or Re-Ment's business model but it's a great option IMHO.

Jackie, have you ever tried jewelry made from surgical steel? I have to wear earrings and rings made from it cause of metal allergies, and it's because when we get jewelry even if it's gold it has other metals added ( for weight, which is scammy I know) and you never know which metals are added. They say no one is allergic to the surgical steel, I wear it and I'm ok. Usually the offending metal added is nickel which a lot of people are allergic to.

Hi! I’m a professional jeweler who specializes in hypoallergenic jewelry. Anything that isn’t a 24k gold has other metals added to it because it’s too malleable otherwise. A good jeweler will know exactly what is in their karat golds. For example the best yellow and rose golds are just silver, copper, and gold. The karat tells you how much is actually gold. Sterling silver is also an alloy because pure silver is too soft to for almost all jewelry applications. It is 92.5% silver to copper, and although that copper adds strength, it also causes it to patina over time and need to be regularly shined. Surgical steels are also not all the same alloy, and are extremely hard to work with. Generally only really specialized jewelers know how to work with them and make quality jewelry. There’s lots of costume jewelry out there with unlabeled types of surgical steel, and that’s fine for most people, but quality surgical steel is usually 316L surgical steel and a good jeweler should have a certificate for their parts guaranteeing the metal type. It is very easy to buy cheap surgical steel earring posts and make deco earrings using polymer clay and resin. It’s a fun craft, but it’s also generally not something you can expect to last so you need to be prepared for that. They’re great toy jewelry though! Ps. You’re probably allergic to nickel, like many people. BUT you can be allergic to the coatings put on brass to keep it from patina-ing. There’s no nickel in brass, but that coating can be really irritating.

Whoever was doing the paint job on those faces clearly had some aiming issues. Even Elsa's pupils and irises were all wonky, and she was among the better ones. I've never watched Toy Story either, the time it came out I was not in the target audience, and when I recently tried to watch the first one, it really didn't feel quite as excellent as all the other Pixar films - which I absolutely love. The older Disney films are a bit too focused on finding the perfect prince to interest me, but the more recent Disney films are ok. But I'm a long-time fan of Disney comics.

I only opened 14 balls and ended up getting pretty close to the full set, and from what I’ve seen from others the golds are actually super common in this series BUT looks like you just got unlucky from who ever picked your ball. SORRY. I do know that these are not exclusive to target, they also sell them at Walmart and a few other stores. Canada should have them so that you do not have to pay the crazy shipping fees from America to Canada.

I really like the Disney Mini Brands, but I generally really like Disney and Star Wars and I can get the balls at Target for about $8 USD. I also got fairly lucky and in 6 balls I got two duplicates (one being the baby Yoda cup), one item that was just a box, and a gold Buzz Lightyear. I really want the mini Darth Vader for my boyfriend, he loves all the Darth Vaders.

I think this might have cured my desire for mini brands. Definitely disappointed in the paint job and the “empty” boxes. I mean I knew that already from like the food and everyday item ones but for some reason seeing it come from the multi-bajillion dollar company Disney that definitely could have put even a little more effort into these high priced minis really kind of sold how overpriced these are for the quality. They’re still fun and I’m definitely going to admire from afar but I think I’m glad I haven’t been able to find them anywhere and didn’t actually buy any.

I actually decided not to get The Disney Mini Brands for myself because personally, I’m not a fan of most of them. The Animation ones are the better quality including the Baby Yoda face mini brand. It’s not worth my own money.

Personal opinion : You expect a bit too much from minibrands. Just because they blew up on tiktok doesn't mean their every single items has to be top tier. There are other famous toys too where they are terribly done. You somewhat act like you are mini brands personal product reviewer. Like they have do what ever seems wrong to you. Also just because you get dupes doesnt mean everyone else will. Its a mystery toy for a reason. You can buy 10 of these even tho they are expensive but others cant, thats why minibrands "special addition" ones are harder to get cause i m pretty sure mini brands doesn't expect most ppl to buy alot of these. About the "boxes" its not really their fault. They are just recreating whatever toy/item exists. If you think boxes is lazy, other toys (toy boxes) are too. They print those too, its just the toy inside that probably has a mold to recreate and a pretty bad paint job. I m not a regular viewer of yours, your crazy videos like "100$ dollar minibrands are NOT worth it" or something like that, those makes me watch them. After watching some, i had this opinion which I wanted to share. I don't "hate" you tho. Just a unpopular opinion. Have a gd.

I agree it’s unrealistic for most consumers to spend $120 on mini brands to be that let down that’s there’s doubles and triples of the same ones lol.
