The reason why those reviews have more 'variety' is because they're staged. A lot of people make fake positive reviews to make their product look better to try and sell more. Whenever I check reviews, I go to the negative ones and look for what's consistent there. On the plus side, with little items like those, maybe you could work them into some resin pieces as decorations or even sets if you wanted to :)

Probably the company has a rotation of a certain number of items and they did not expect people to buy so many bags at the same time. Most likely they have something among the lines of: this month we have booze and cigars and bowls, next month we have notebooks and baquets and stuff

Just trying to look on the bright side here, but there's a perfect setup there for a pool party. You've got a 10-pack of Coke (they tend to sell things in 10s or dozens, so that's not odd, or two could have been finished), bowls to put them in (you could add some 'ice'), glasses ready for the wine, you could fill a couple of the bowls with 'punch' that looks similar in color to what's in the coffee cups and have them be cups for punch, glasses of sangria, already-filled glasses of wine, and bottles of water and fancy non-alcoholic drinks for the non-drinkers. Then you could make some snacks out of polymer clay to go on the plates, set everything on a table and voila!

In the image you kept showing us, the patterns of question marks on the back of the bags were different but on yours they were all the same. That makes me think you got items from the same batch of processing and that there is an indicator to tell the company what's in the bags (or at least what batch they came from) but the company either ignored it or didn't have anything else at the moment.

Same, I also noticed the different question marks on the back. And there's also the possibility that the store used someone else's photo, who are selling actual miniatures of those things. It's actually quite common for some stores to use the same photo and have a different quality than what was shown. Especially the scammy ones 🤭😅

Majority of her audience are young people, kids or my self parents..They go to her to see if the craft kits are worth the money because they don’t have money to waste on garbage kits. Every video of craft kits she does a break down of the cost. She doesn’t do that on her own craft kit because the price is so overwhelmingly over priced. 150 for a kit is so over priced. I love her but it was upsetting she didn’t think about the people who use her channel for what it is.

You not being able to afford it doesn’t mean it’s overpriced, overpriced is when the price of any product or service is charged more than the industry standard AND when the returns of the sale is unreasonably greater than the benchmark for the sellers financial sustainability. Neither of these boxes are checked so it’s not overpriced at all. If the same box is offered by other companies they might charge 2 or 3 times more.

In my experience, "4.7" is the most suspect review score as it seems to be the most common score for items with fake reviews. They want it to look good, but not too good to be believable, so 4.7 is the target.

That sucks the listing didn't live up to expectations. I'm curious if in the listing there were different options like on wish or ebay, where they have "batch a/b/c/ etc etc" drop menu and you just got 10 orders of one bundle, that could explain it. Your theory where they just picked from one batch makes sense too. The only nice thing I can see, is using the empty dishes to make your own mini drinks and food with resin or clay since there are so many.

Honestly, I believe this is how ALL mystery bags work. I have been following Bag-O-Day Crochet for a while now, and she loves buying mystery bags. Several at a time. And ALMOST ALWAYS, each bag has the same stuff in it. If you want different things in a mystery bag, you need to order them at least a week apart.

Look at the bright side, Jackie! You can make things with these! With the mountains of waters, make a tiny cardboard "case", put 24 of them in there, then wrap it in thin bits of shrink wrap. You've got a full case of waters. Make tiny cola cartons for six-packs of sodas. Put some of the extras in a tiny fridge for a diarama. make a little convenience store for those, or cafe set for the drinks-in-cups up to display them. :V You can totally make lemonade with these lemons!

Maybe with the double up things like the half empty cups you can craft with them a little to something slightly new, take the fallen of slices from the wine and pop it on the cup or bowl, maybe add some clay “foam” or “fruits”, add some slightly different coloured uv resins to make it look like an iced layered drink of some kind or add to a bowl to make bowl of jelly etc so many ideas, cling wrap some bottles together make them look like bulk buy lot of water bottle etc, sucks you couldn’t just get more variations but atleast can maybe turn it into something that feels less of a waste of money but just gotta get a little creative, if you decide to do it can’t wait for the video ❤️

I'm with you on the "these were all a set that they picked from", because you had most of your items have duplicates of 10. 10 wine bottles, 10 water bottles, 10 lemon drinks, 10 wine glasses, 10 bowls, 10 coke bottles, 10 coffee cups, with a couple more rare things thrown in. It definitely seems like they tried to divide up what they had on hand evenly so they didn't sell out of one thing right away. It's quite a coincidence for this grouping of 100 to get multiple divisions of exactly 10, like it was on purpose.

You can get these exact same things at Micheal's, but it's not a mystery, and it's so much more expensive. If I remember right, one mini set of 6 empty wine glasses plus 1 wine bottle is like, $6/$8 (it was quite pricey for how much was in it tbh). Though you got a lot of doubles, imo you got quite a steal with how many you did get for the price you paid.

Not gonna lie I absolute l o v e blind bags, even if the prizes are meh. I guess the fun part is just opening the surprise! But I never buy them. First, they're usually way too expensive here in Brazil, and second, I get goosebumps just thinking of all the trash ("L.O.L" blindbags/toys are the worst I would say). I'm pretty sure Jackie is going to recicle the little bags; but recycling sadly isn't a big thing here and most people just mix everything (even from the kitchen/bathroom...) so everything turns into useless dirty trash that can't be recycled in the end. =( If the bags were at least made of something biodegradable I would probably enjoy the whole thing way more! (Also if there is one particular blindbag that I would totally grab if I could afford, is one from Disney, I think the name is vinylmation, because the Dalmatians are way too cute ;A;)

Agreed this whole concept is pretty bad. Enormous amounts of extra packaging. And on top of that the products themselves are more likely to end up in the landfill because you don't know what you're purchasing. This is the worst kind of consumption in my opinion

I am obsessed with the challenge of making miniature art. To make lemonade out of lemons, all those empty plates, dishes and glasses could be used to hold itty bitty items that you make. You could print off your own bitty wine labels for variety too. They are kind of a size reference to make your own props? Polymer clay, resin, etc. Look at it as a challenge

I'm curious what your reaction is with the Made to Move Barbie dolls! Personally, I'd like to think of using them as a kind of Drawing Mannequin! Yeah, I have a small wooden one, but unlike those, the Made to Move Barbie dolls are not just posable, but they have articulated body and limbs. And I mean WAY MORE articulated than the wooden mannequin with limited articulation. Also, if you haven't seen Toya's DIY Doll crafts from her MyFroggyStuff KZbin Channel, I highly recommend it! Her doll crafts are REALLY amazing, something I think your Brother might like to do for his photoshoots!

BJDs are really flexible, though often times more expensive (if you buy them off of Aliexpress they're much cheaper but If you do something on KZbin you'll either have to turn off comments or label the video something like bjd recast from AliExpress)

@@yiotatort That’s why I prefer the Made to Move Barbies. At around $20, I can get a doll with articulation made with a strong plastic that won’t fall apart, pop off easily or fragile. Also, no elastics and hooks, so that’s a big bonus. I’d be even more happy if Mattel made extra hands in different poses, so you can change hands easily and make it easier to look like they can hold things instead of just making the hands too static or something. But I’ll take the extra articulated limbs though!
