What's some healthy hair tips you swear by? Let me Know!

I swear by KeraVada Creme Brûlée 4 Day Moisture lotion. After a fresh wash I finger detangle and apply this product to my ends, then seal the moisture with a protective style for length retention.

I’ve learned curly hair really thrives in humid tropical environments. So spritzing the hair daily with water and the scalp. On those super hot days really helps to increase the sebum production if someone is lacking it and also helps to reactivate the product.

Sis, you got me with "your hair is getting aggravated!". I believe our hair is ORGANIC, and The Most High YAH created our hair to be the miracle hair it is, so touching it all of the time, pulling it up and back, etc. will make us get on our hair's nerves! LOL! Loved it! Although I keep my head wrapped in public, I struggle with keeping the same protective style (twists, chunky plaits, cornrows) from week to week to build consistency and create permanent sections to minimize breakage. Still trying to settle on one. Thank you and your hair is BEA-U-TI-FUL!

OMG, I commented on somebody's post that it was not the dirt, it was because of the low manipulation, and baby they tried to fight me on TIK TOK lol. But I am definitely trying to minimize buying all these natural hair products and just get some good quality products. I used to shampoo every week but now I only shampoo every two weeks cause I have been wearing mini twist or protective styles a lot lately.

The fact that people believe dirt grows their hair is wild to me lol I’ve never heard such a declaration before 😂

I love how you relay information and how in depth you go. I was wondering why a person shouldn't deep condition all the time, so I'm glad you answered that. Washing your hair weekly really does make each wash day going forward go smoother. I would love any other info videos on hair (or anything lol) in the future!

Thank you for being so informative. I am definitely guilty of sitting/sleeping with a conditioner or not cleansing the protective style. This helps tremendously ❤😊

I wash, condition and style my hair twice a week, maybe deep condition once or twice a month and get it trimmed every 3 to 4 months.

Yes, my relaxed hair always broke off and my scalp was dry and itchy because I didn’t know how to care for it. I had issues years ago when I wore and Afro so it’s all about care and technique. But I’m natural and no intention of going straight again.

I am transitioning again for the 3rd time...lol I've been natural more than I've been relaxed...I technically don't need a relaxer however I'll slap a relaxer if I have a short cut. Right now I'm 14wk no relaxer and have decided no more relaxer. My routine is wash weekly and deep condition then roller set. I use the product line Phyto..it's a French line I live in Philly..Bill lawrence salon in DC turned me on to the line...when I lived there. I'm high porosity so that's why I deep condition weekly. I make my own hair butter so I keep my ends oiled a little in my hand nightly. I put a protein only if I see any shedding.. Maybe quarterly..I do clarify every 8 weeks ish.. My hair grade is about a 4a I tried twists and every product in the world my hair ended up just being straight.. So I learned to do the style I loved and I don't flat iron often. Right now I have it in a Bob. Wishing you best with your business.my aunt had her own salon 40 years and made good money. New subbie...

I'm in ca I'm in and out of box braids two grow when it itchy I wash it so what you're saying is because I'm in and out of box braids I'm causing damage ? I have a busy schedule and the box braids are The easy style for me at this moment
@Niabiafoefia Жыл бұрын
I’m not saying that they cause damage, I’m saying it’s important to have true and lengthy breaks in between styles to allow your hair to breathe.
