I'm from Australia and I've only ever seen blue triggers on the sharp shot. Also, when I put an inch of 13mm brass (it's a tighter fit than 17/32) and double spring these, I hit just under 100fps.

Airsoft spring, and some solid reinforcements and mine hits like a brick. Edit: it's worth mentioning that I learned what I had to reinforce because stuff broke in it after a few shots

I'm so glad you finally did a video on this! I had been wanting to see it on Tag Back for years now! I got mine new the very last time I went to my local Toys R Us about 3 years ago (no idea why it was still there) and it thankfully was the blue trigger variant. I just had a feeling I would like the blaster and surely enough I did! The blaster performed better than I expected and it got even better when I took the air restrictor out. Despite it being reverse plunger, it's still among my top 5 favorite single shot pistols I have. Looking back now, I am so glad I bought it when I did! I actually still have the original box with everything in it still.

Bringing up the BigShock is kind of a bad example, as there isn't actually an orange-trigger version: ALL BigShocks have gray triggers, no matter where in the world you get them - the reason people think otherwise is because the "official images" of the BigShock that Hasbro uses everywhere (and thus gets commonly used by online retailers as their product image as well) are photos of a pre-production model with an orange trigger (as well as a different shade of plastic for the interior body). No such product actually exists anywhere though.

I love the Sharp Shot, my favorite blaster to mod and quite possibly my favorite blaster of all time (without shell modifications). I can get a healthy 120 fps and so far got up to 160 with one solidly, really surprising for such a small reverse plunger.

I live in Australia and because N-Strike and Dart Tag was very low in performance we got the orange trigger variants back then. Grey triggers started with Elite. I even have a blue trigger version as they were also sold here aswell.

That flared muzzle that the Sharp Shot has is so good for panic loading, like when you're being harassed by a Swarmfire behind cover. Somehow THAT design choice never made it into other muzzle loaders since. Granted, I can see why with the Jolt. The 2011 DT line is the closest I have to a 'complete set', but even at a 50% rate. An Orange Quick 16, an Orange Swarmfire, and a Blue Sharp Shot. It's just a shame that the yellow shields mark so easily. Like scuff marks in a high school gym levels of easy to mark

Only blue triggers on sharpshot, Swarmfire and speedswarm in the Netherlands. Orange trigger on the snapfire though. Haven't found the rest of the dart tag series here yet. Starting to think I should maybe start collecting them...

I picked a sharp shot up for a buck. Best deal I ever got. Ergo is great, and after a little work, it managed to fire better. If they had released this in the Icons line, I'm pretty sure they would have sold out fast.

I think rfid or something could be a great, relatively cheap way for nerf to make a dart tag system... that just becomes modern nerf/rival. Also, it could possibly add a whole new level to cleanup. Dart tracking. A sensor kit or maybe you’d just need to download the app and your phone could ping the rfid chip in the dart. Maybe even dedicated serial numbers allowing the sensor kit or app to help you sort darts by owner, date of purchase, etc...
