I seriously forgot this blaster even existed...and now I can't not use it. I love it. It's so perfect. Why have I forgotten about the majesty that is the Doublestrike? And then THIS kit. Oh my gosh this kit. It fixes it. I really hope I can turn this thing up to 11, but leave me your ideas down in that comment section!

I recommend this every single time people ask for secondaries. Nothing for me even compares to a doublestrike. The only thing even close to being a replacement for me is my K26ed M6. But even then I just love my doublestrike so much more.

1) I like the ring sight. 2) because of how hammer primed blasters function, replacing/modifying the grip is going to be more complicated. Also, as stated by Cpt Xavier, the Doublestrike fits in basic airsoft pistol holsters.

You just put a new grip over the old grip, easiest way.

leather/ suede grip cover is always nice. a Little Plastidip on the outer part of the hammer helps too to make it a better grip. Of course a good mod for the Spring is either an Upgraded one (many sources, or Menards/lowes) or just a PVC spacer to make it hit a bit harder. You may be able to brass the Front, without removing the AR. If so it would add about 10 FPS or so.

I made a leather holster based on russel crowes “hand of god” rig for this blaster and even painted it all black with wood grips, have to say it’s definitely my fav sidearm now

a simple trick for the grip is to add hockey tape. The inner curvature is lessened and it helps a lot with comfort.

That is a cool looking kit, I especially like the ghost ring sight. The only things I know to improve would be a spring upgrade and brass the barrels. I don't really have much truck with the singled versions, but I am intrigued by the shotgun ones. It is a nice little blaster, but I feel that it is too small for much work.

They use "stunted" barrels so we don't have to look down the barrel to see if it's loaded. With no 'jam door' in the pistol type blasters, stunted barrels are the only option without increasing costs for translucent/transparent barrels.

Honestly, I've since printed out these parts, but in orange to match the stock paintjob. The Doublestrike goes take a nut spacer mod well, imo, and I've been enjoying it a lot.

What would be a good option to make it sturdier is make a rail attachment on the add on that can slide on to the actual rail on the blaster to make a one long continuous rail. Leave a little space on the end to slide a sight on

This has to be my favorite nerf blaster it’s small and easy to holster it has a smart AR system and it’s easy to reload as well. I would use the hammer shot as primary and the double strike as a secondary

never tryed it but​ you might be able to put the metal hammershot kit inside of it, and throw 10k spring. if hitting like 70-80 you may be able to do a small brass Ring in the barrel.

I'd say take it all apart, get your upgrade spring ect, find a doner gun with a handle you enjoy and find a way to overlay that said handle on the top apoxie as needed to make flush and attach. then Hit it with a flat black and leave a section of your 3d printed barrel for safeties (orange tip) should look pretty niff

I love this blaster and it makes me so happy to see it get some of the love it deserves. I don't know if this is common knowledge but this blaster sorta has slamfire (I think the persuader too). If you hold the trigger and fan the hammer like you see in those old westerns it will fire quickly. The hammershot certainly can't do that because the cylinder doesn't rotate right when doing this.

paint the main body without the mono pieces. could be very storm troopery/destiny-ish with a two tone grey and white. the grip you could smooth the wrapping out and make it more of a slab sided cz style grip . think it would look slick

Personally I prefer my personal hammer prime pistol. i took a doublestrike and cut off the front barrels. I then addes the front and smart AR of a dauntless. So now i have a hammer prime 3 shot western/pirate pistol looking thing with a leather grip. and i love it

I say permanently affix the barrel mod, cosmetic job, and power upgrade. Double post sight looks better IMO. Maybe find a way to swap the base rail for a Picatinny so it matches and get a new sight to fit.

also just make a 1/2 inch spacer out of 1/2inch cpvc. I did it to my two hammershots and it works great. i think it is damn near close to a 5k upgrade spring but I may be wrong

I recommend to look at coop772 steampunk double strike for a cool paint job. Just recommend it cuz he made a cool looking modern grip for it!

If you're saying that you've clearly never held a Doublestrike. Triads are terrible to try and holster, darts easily get bent and fall out, and the thing overall is ugly as sin.

Triads don't need to be holstered.......... they just get clipped onto tac vests, battle belts, bandoliers, and the like. And as for darts getting bent and falling out ive never had problems with darts getting bent, and if you replace or modify the barrels the darts won't fall out. I don't see the point of a 2 shot pistol, even if it is slightly more ergonomic..... hammer primes are overrated.

Dang, that's pretty spiffy! Tbh, I think some heavy putty work might help to bring that handle to the 'modern age'. Either that, or taking way too long and designing your own handle scales, like people've done with the Hammershot. -shrug- I'd go with putty, personally. Some EP-200, and that'd be good to go. But for sight opinion... Gotta go with the tried n' true three-post setup. Rings are nice, yeah, but it just doesn't look right on the Doublestrike. :/

i think that nerf keeps the darts out half an inch or so, to make it able to take the darts out easily. take the maverick, try and get the darts out without squishing the head to bad. you really cant, so they have it where there is enough space to grip the dart to take it out, .... i cant believe how much i just over explained something so minor *facepalm
