That is still a valid statement in your part, but also a valid complaint on theirs. MK1 is superior to MK11 because it allows for much longer and flashier combos…… And Omni-man cannot take advantage of that… because his extended combos produce little to no extra damage. That is akin to going to Michelin-star restaurant to eat a burger and you get served with McDonald’s takeout (for a price of Michelin-star meal). Expectations are not being met/falling flat, kinda.

​@@kingol4801 I think the main point of the air combo extensions is for when the opponent is SUPER low on health, so that way you can spend the rest of your meter to do thr last neccesary amount of damage. Atleast that's what I think

I think the complaint has more to do with people using bar and the amount of extra damage you do is basically pointless. I can do a meter/kameo-less combo and get 35% but if I spend a bar and kameo I get what… 38%. 3% isn’t worth the utility being used. I’m not complaining but I believe that’s why the complaints are being made. Everyone rather try and spend meter to get crazy 80% damage combos instead of saving meter for defense and settling with your 35% regular combo.

@@notoxicallowed7209 What are you talking about mate?? First you complain about a teleport as if he’s the only one. Secondly, an unreactable teleport overhead, what?? His F2 overhead is kinda a teleport but it’s pretty easy to telegraph since he raises his hand before he does it and it’s -14 on block. His other overhead “teleport” is his Stance 3 and it’s not unreactable either because it requires going into a stance. 😂 Third, None of his strings are plus on block. Half are about negative on block ranging from -6 to -14 I believe. The other half range are -5 to 3. Which is all pretty much neutral. All of his special are neg on block. He’s pretty fair when it comes to frame data he’s either getting punished or remaining neutral. He’s just hard to fight against because he has multiple ways of closing the distance. He’s a rush down grappler. He’s meant to be in your face. Most of those type characters don’t have multiple ways to get in. Because of his character and the ability to fly and super speed, he does. They balance that by not giving him crazy damage from his strength. He does medium damage he’s just super consistent. If you know how to block or have a character that has a longer reach like Ashrah, you can effectively box him out. Definitely not broken

He doesn't need nerfed. All you have to do is mainly block low to prevent his low starter. If he starts punching, block high to catch the end of his combo and if he is in his stance his attacks are pretty easy to predict. Land your up blocks and you will be punishing him all the time. Same goes for what I believe is his back 2 high starter. It easy very easy to up block.

@@catzlatan All of his overheads are super reactable. His low starter is not. That is why I said you start blocking low. If he starts throwing punches that is when you stand up. None of his combos end in low so you start low then stand and you will block everything. All of his special over heads are slow start up and can be up blocked. Im telling you, if you do this you will have no issues with him. He hits hard but once you know his moves he has issues opening people up. You will be punishing him like crazy if you know when to up block.

@@maurozapata8227 Yeah he is just new so people are not use to reacting to his move set. Once you get a few of his important moves figured out, he has no way to open you up. A lot of his moves are not as fast as they seem. The devs did a fantastic job with his animations making him really look super fast, but his only move that is actually really fast and hard to predict is his low starter.

I low-key wish that his super-scream ability is not Sindel’s scream, but an omni-directional damage bubble around him. For example, if enemy attempts to teleport, be can scream as hit them from behind (since scream goes both ways), stunning them and setting up for a follow up. Having a zoner/keep-way character that can punish attempts at getting closer might make Homelander be as viable as Deadshot (but with lasers and not bullets).

Honestly if it helps just use kenshi and sub or frost. Kenshi when not in sento stance can keep him at a good distance, block a lot because once you get him far enough he’ll teleport behind you or fly at you, so it’s kinda easy to predict what he’s gonna do. Once there is an opening when he’s close just uppercut

Lolhounds I noticed when playing a lot of omni man that the more you do the four hit beginner combos leading to his air attack, it makes you do less damage overall then the two hit starters and grab/launcher air attacks fyi. Had a guy doing 34% consistently with more beginner hits than my 38% regular

I learned a cool trick with a Scorpion kameo, F3 into F Assist pops the opponent up. I haven’t found the timing for the follow up but dashing F4 into clap is an ender, the best position is to do it when you’re near the corner for an easier combo route.
