the terra scout would be a really cool addition to hvz games giving humans a new class called the operator (not great with names) where you sacrifice a side arm for the drone and like you it has lives so you can only use it so much and it has a cool down between uses (maybe 5 secs or so) and the operator becomes invincible while running the drone (so you cant tag em out while youre controlling) but you cant attack physically whilst controlling and you cant be puppy dog guarded either (a zombie cant sit on you until you finish running the drone) but if youre under attack by a zombie while operating you gotta stop the drone control and kill the zombie or die. idk exact rules on how itd work but like in rainbow six you got the three camera drones, kinda like that but you can attack with it

50 years from now the nerf drones have been given % 50 self aware A.I. they can accept voice commands and have a automatic targeting system and come with a holographic interactive 3D map so you can control it anyware. I can't wait for that day

This video, like the other terrascout videos, really shows the biggest flaw in the TS, control fidelity. With the gun on an elevation only turret, the quick turning ability makes aiming extremely difficult. Either the gun needed to be a more controllable turret, or their needs to be a method by which the operator can gain more precision turning control, like a second control stick that commands the motors at a slower speed. I'm sure that if these get popular that modders will come up with something, perhaps even just a switch that slows down the motors when aiming, but in the mean time the TS is really best used for harassment attacks.

lol the terrascout totally cheated. the drove did a better job of aiming to make up for its lack of speed and maneuverability. the scout couldnt point its gun straight, so it just shoved the drone over =P i really like the way the legs of the drone move. but the tank treads of the scout are clearly more practical

Ben Lam Yeah reason being it is very risky and even if you tried you'll pretty much destroy the connection between the machine and the controls. I'd say one would have to have like I dunno 4 times as much experience as drac to even think of modding either one
