@@larsmanlive Just tested it and it turns out dwarves lower your happiness by 1 when you befriend them. This is lumped in with the negative population happiness when you hover over happiness. Hope you learned something!

For a good 1v1 strat I encourage you to follow my Lion build order. It's entirely independent. I personally dispise 1v1s in NG as they feel so much slower and 2D compared to 3v3s but i absolutely understand where you're coming from.

You could try to find a squad to play with on my discord! The best way to learn the game is by finding someone who can mentor you for a little bit. That was how I've been able to learn the game myself as well!
