Well thought out remake of the 1993 classic, with the incorporation of issues of today - social media, urbanization, working women and constitutional reforms. The Neria of 2024 seems to be at an advantage but yet is still navigating culture, mental health and challenges that her 1993 counterpart hoped would be a thing of the past now. Kudos for the reflection during Womens Month. My only critique would be i feel the aftermath following Patricks death seemed rushed unlike in the original where we really sat in the hopelessness of the situation. The montage during the Neria song made up for it. Thank you for this amazing tribute to the legend Oliver Mutukudzi. This feels like home.
