Hi Nerida! Is it ok to massage clients with telangiectasia/couperose skin? I’ve been told not to massage those areas much because it can make it worse or irritate the area. Is that true? How about clients with rosacea? Thank you SO much!
@NeridaJoySkincare5 жыл бұрын
If you are using a product that is soothing and supports the blood vessel (such as the Q flavonoid) you can massage for a little. Massage is good, just not too much:))

How is lemon an alkaline food when it’s acidic?
@NeridaJoySkincare6 жыл бұрын
Sometimes when you combine certain foods i.e. lemon in a glass of water it becomes alkaline. On its own it is the highest acid fruit of all, but once added to water it becomes alkaline and changes the pH. Great question though:))
@whobeme2u6 жыл бұрын
Nerida Joy Thanks!
@SebastianoZanda5 жыл бұрын
@@NeridaJoySkincare that's not how it works. If you dilute an acid the pH obviously increases but it will never go over 7 which is neutral. And even you you drink or eat something alkaline it makes no difference because the pH of the liquid inside our stomach is really acid around 2:)
@NeridaJoySkincare5 жыл бұрын
@@SebastianoZanda I disagree.... with everyBODY being different, there is a reason as to why certain waters and drinks work differently for everyone, hence for some coffee is dehydrating and others hydrating:)
@SebastianoZanda5 жыл бұрын
@@NeridaJoySkincare if we talk about having different effects or hydrating properties that is true, but the pH is not affected unless you have some serious diseases

You are talking about neck exercises in this video. Can you share with us what they are? Thank you. I love your videos and I am so glad I found them. They are very educational for us Esti's. You need to be a teacher/trainer because you are fabulous with the skin and have so many answer to questions that I would not know where to begin.
@NeridaJoySkincare8 жыл бұрын
Hello Lisa, Thank you for your message. I am happy sharing my many years of experience with as many people as I can (Esti’s mostly) I have studied in so many area’s of health over the 38 years to help me understand the skin and it’s relationship to our body as a whole. I will continue to educate and answer as many questions as I can to be there for you all. I know there are exercisers for the Jaw/neck area, but I do not personally do them or train people in them. I believe strongly in massage and upward rolling with massage to the neck. Massage really stimulates muscle tone and improves the quality of the skin so if you can combine that with exercise, you will be in good shape. I know my fitness clients always have a better jaw line as with just regular working out they exercise the face without even realizing it. Protect the neck and decollette from sun exposure also. This is SOOOOO important. All the best to you, Nerida Joy
