Came back after watching Nerissa's short about how she writes English lyrics. You really do have a knack for creating incredibly good lyrics that hold the same message as the original AND having it fit so well with the original song structure, as you demonstrated with the chorus in the short and how "Give ME your LOVE" lines up with "a-I-shi-TE" in the original. I recall when me and a friend were watching your debut live together and I told him "There's no way, she's doing Aishite, Aishite, Aishite? AS HER DEBUT COVER? That's insane" but lo and behold, you absolutely knocked it out of the park, and continue to do so. Truly the Demon of Sound 🎼

There's sooo much here that makes it work so well and I need to put some notes down somewhere First of all, the syllable count in each line matches along the rhythm just fine, but the achievement of making meter and phrasing match to the melody's more than divine! Notice, when reading the four lines I'm leaving, how you could turn them into song? See, you can find stresses in every sentence; poetry and music: the same all along! I just wanna appreciate how much this reads like old, traditional poetry, but that works really well for this song since the original Japanese lines are long enough to allow it, and rhythmic pattern of stressed, unstressed, and combined syllables and accentuates the beat in the song:(assuming the song is in 6/8, 230BPM ) I- *placed* in the *top* of my *class,* there’s- *no* one *left* for- *me* to sur-*pass* *Don’t* I look *cute* in this *dress?* I- *rea*-lly, -*-rea-*--lly, -*-must-*- con-*fess* It’s- *tight*-ening *‘round* my *neck!* (IMO, a good alternative line for "tightening 'round my neck!" could be "choking me to death!", to match the phenome "oʊ" (oh) with its other instances on the first beat of every other line(no, don't, choke), and because "death", sounds closer to "dress", and "confess". Ending the stanza with the word "perfection" works so well to accentuate the context and theme of the lyrics: it has such a strong, manic connotation. Its so good at establishing an overwhelming emphasis on the obsessive, _narcissistic_, _*__psychopathic_* state of this character. I could go on about the instrumental part too, the music theory behind this is absolutely top tier but I do NOT have that kind of time, or any sleep truely inspiring, maybe I should try writing/ localizing lyrics, could be a great opportunity there!

The other interpretation is that a girl demands love because of the cursed collar she wears and as she grows older the curse gets stronger making it so that no matter how much love she receives it leaves her unsatisfied.
