I was gonna say, this spin of Agrapinna as cool or smart or strong is wild AF... She was clever, in a devious way.... and I guess a good swimmer? maybe? But the woman was an absolute monster, and like 95% chance most of what was wrong with Nero was directly because of how she raised and interacted with him

Many of the the historical narratives written about Nero were from rival faction many years after his death and Agrippa’s “last words” were taken line from line from a famous play at the time. Most historians didn't (some still don't) care for women, this doesn't mean women didn't exist or have otherwise fulfilling lives that went unrecorded. That and a significant amount of women in history died due the birth of their 6th+ child, roughly by age 30.

Interestingly, some speculate that Hatshepsut was the one who raised Moses. After what Moses did to Egypt, could you really blame Thutmose for wanting to torch her memory for basically raising public enemy number one?

@FlaviusBelisarius-ck6uv

This woman was just as horrible as her son. Had an incestuous relationship with her brother Caligula and then her uncle Claudius, probably poisoned Claudius, then his freedman Narcissus and then Claudius' son (her cousin and step-son) Britannicus. If that wasn't enough, she was likely doing the horizontal tango with Nero himself too. (Incest bingo anyone?) What's funny is that this assassination attempt was not the first one, there was a previous one where Nero tried to have the roof of Agrippina's house fall on her. (Interesting side-fact: Future Emperor Titus was a stalwart companion of Britannicus. He was at the dinner where Britannicus met his end and, upon realizing what had happened, drank from the same cup that had poisoned his friend in an attempt to die with him) (Interesting Fact Number 2: Agrippina also REALLY hated Titus' dad, also a Future Emperor, Vespasian)

Due to all of this, his father Vergil cut off his arm and turned it into the Yamato, to seperate his own humanity and inner demons. Then Nero had to replace his now stump of an arm with a mechanical replacement from his Texan friend. To defeat his father Nero teamed up with his uncle, wacky pizza man and V. Wacky Pizza Man fights the inner demons of his brother, king bowser, defeating him. V shows something really cool to King bowser and becomes Vergil once more…. Did I mention the tree?

In reality Agrippina was the evil mother, Nero was just a theater child forced to be his mother's puppet who only had him to have the throne, she manipulated him and constantly belittled him and the murder was something that everyone in the empire agreed on because the woman was a real witch, being the mastermind behind Nero's murders, she was the one who drove him to kill to get the throne The mental damage that Nero's mother had on him was such that even after her death, Nero felt haunted by her ghost

These calls are very entertaining and I’ve been binge watching your channel lately while doing other things around the house or biking and running errands. I especially enjoy the PCH and Mega Millions calls because they usually last longer and they get off script more easily than call center scams thus creating more unique and humorous situations. Their nastiness, narcissism, stupidity, selfishness, and insatiable greed and disregard for other people is revolting and reallllllly makes me frustrated and pisses me off
