Nerofest 2017: Karna & Arjuna - Cu Solo [Fate Grand Order]

GIMMICKS! Ok this is a nightmare... Going to start with Karna. He has a permanent def boost, Anyone he hits gets a random debuff. Breaking his first HP bar will allow Arjuna to buff himself with a Insta death chance boost (If you break Karna's first HP bar on the turn Arjuna is going to NP he won't be able to buff himself until after the NP) When Arjuna dies Karna will drain ALL of your teams NP and drain 10% NP every turn. he also gains a attack boost.
Arjuna gains crit buffs every time you hit him. If you break his first HP bar Karna will buff himself with a def boost that stacks with the one he already has. When Karna dies Arjuna will drain ALL of your NP and debuffs your NP gain by a crap load.
Generally speaking it's best to kill Karna first. the buffs Karna gets from beating up Arjuna are just to powerful. However the insta death chance Arjuna gets is enough to be worried about. I soloed this boss like 6 or 7 times to test it out. The death fails to proc more than it works... however if you are using a full team it's hitting 3 targets every time, So it's likely to kill somebody. I find it's good to get Arjuna's first HP bar low but not to break it. Then kill Karna and try to finish off Arjuna with crits as quickly as you can.
I used Artoria Pendragon Lancer(Alter) to bucther Arjuna with crits out of the blue.

He never truly goes solo in these missions, you can see he is using 3 servants there but only fights the boss with Cu. What you can do is use other shitty servents to take care of the trash mobs and change cu in after the first round of battle 2.

The thing is, You can't fight a battle with only 1 servant, also Solo in FGO means you need to kill your 2 other servant first and the servant you want to do the solo must be in the first row (with no servant in backrow because if someone died in front, the backup will appear), and you just said "Switch him after the charm" means, Cu needs to be in backrow, so that's technically not a solo run in FGO.

CuZilla bonks Karna dead in his interlude, without a Grail Boost. With just a spear thrust. He also kills Salter and Herc, while enduring Semiramis' poison. Cu Alter is stronger than Karna, lol.

@@SetsunaBlueRose Well Karna vs Cu Alter depends on Karna Master. If you give him enough to be able to use Vasavi Shakti and Brahmastra Kundala as much as he want Cu would have a lot of trouble. And I'm also certain that the buffed version we saw in Lostbelt is more powerful than Cu. But in a fight between Cu Alter and Karna with normal Masters Cu Alter could definitely win if he can hit Karna with his NP

Karna's mana intake is absurdly retarded that it'd kill even a master like Rin in an extended fight. So giving Karna essentially infinite mana isn't exactly fair, and Cu Alter would still win if given the same privilege. The Lostbelt version was given some shitty Dragon Ball plot power up of receiving Rama's power, as well as Ash ( who is stronger than Karna, he got 1v1'd by him ). So again, stacking the deck against Cu Alter isn't fair.

Karna: I have a Noble Phantasm that can slay the very gods with ease in addition to my invincible armor that reduces all damage I take to just 10% of the original value. Arjuna: I'm one of the best Archers out there other than the fact that my bow is capable of destroying anything that its normal arrows hit. Both: What are you capable of? Cu: Let's just say that first off, I may not be at the same tier as you SR and SSR Servants but if you get injured by my spear, those wounds will not heal for as long as I live or for as long as my spear remains. Second, I'm faster than the two of you, so good luck hitting me. Third, I can the runes necessary to heal myself AND get rid of anything that you use on me that could be a hindrance. Fourth, you'll see why I can't die but you two definitely will. Lastly, my Noble Phantasm ensures that it will strike my target's heart once I've called out its true name so not even EX Rank Endurance and Agility would do anyone any good once I use my Noble Phantasm. Think you can top me off? Karna and Arjuna: Oh crap!

Cu's spear makes it difficult to heal while Diarmuid's spear is near impossible to heal from as long as he is alive and the spear is intact.

It's not Impossible to heal, just take more time to heal. Arjuna has a high Luck, so he could escape from the hit kill. However, Protection from Arrows would make kinda difficult for Arjuna use his bow. But I believe Arjuna would hit him sometime, as a top tier Archer-class.

It's not really luck. We stockpile SQ for months on end until we have 700+ Then we drop it all on a single rate up. So we are very likely to get the thing we want. I've always been playing for over a year and I have my alt account to stock pile SQ on as well :p

Someone who plays JP know how many total grails you can get? I for sure want to max Cu out to level 100 but 9 grails is a lot to max out a 3 star, and there's only around 10 story areas right?

Right now there is 20 grails. Some events have grails not just the main story. You can also grail Cu to 90. You sav a lot of grails but still get a lot of boom for your buck. Cu's only flaw is he's low DPS while stay alive. If you grail him up he gets decent DPS which is a great combo with how long he can stay alive.

Halloween 2015 Event Da Vinci Event Fate/Accel Zero Order Event Onigashima Event FGO 2016 Summer Event Halloween 2016 Event GUDAGUDA Meiji Ishin CCC Collab Event These events all gave a grail as a reward. Robin Hood is an amazing unit to grail. Generally I recommend grailing units you like over what's "meta" That being said I do favor grailing 1-3 star units because they have such powerful toolkits their only flaw is shitty stats. And 4/5 star units are playable at end game without grails. So it's kinda a waste to grail them imo. Some other good grail targets are David. Hans (I would not go past 80) Bedivere, Caesar, Medea and Medusa

The units I listed there are not the only good grail targets by any means. Just what I got from the top of my head. And honestly a lot of 1-3 stars when grailed are better than 4/5 stars. Plus they keep their lower team cost.

prototype only better as a damage dealer but nobody looking for a 3* damage dealer, most people like fsn Cu cause he literally can't die with his evade and gut, prototype fall short on the survive department

Whoa whoa. Slow down. Prototype Cu is still VERY good. Generally FSN Cu is better but sometimes Proto Cu is better. Reason being there are situations where Cu's extra survivability won't come into play and is thus wasted. Proto Cu can be the right mix of survivability and damage. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnqxoqJrgJeti80 This guy makes Proto Cu videos. He generally needs a few more taunt walls than Cu and he has a few less solos... but this is nothing to write off. And let's not forget you can use them both at once. Which results in some insane survivability.
