I know Kronii's feeling of seeing how her chances made her able to play the role despite other candidates being as suitable as her. It's comprehensible that she feels like there could have been other even better versions of herself because I'm sure many talented girls auditioned for the same role, but what is also fair is the audience she honed in to appraise her for the amazing Kronii she has given to us. I honestly can't imagine a better or even close in quality alternative version of Kronii. She delivers a magnifique narcissistic, prideful warden and her natural kindness and compassion (plus her sweet adorable side) clash to create a perfect gap that is charming and endearing. And I don't believe that would've been possible without OURo Kronii. I also love the fact that she loves memes and puns as much, really adds a lot of playfulness and sarcasm to her persona and her voice acting is top notch. Thanks for existing Kronii because at the end of the day you, and not any other person that auditioned for the role was picked. Like, when they audition and stuff, they have a set of premade characters they want to fill in, so if this Kronii didn't get in, we would see the same model, the same animations, but with an entirely different person behind it. I think thats the best attitude to approach it. According to the form they have, it can take up to a whole month before they even respond, if they respond at all. Thats plenty of time to go insane with anticipation if you do in fact have expectations. I'd liken it to the anticipation of applying for a university and waiting for their response. Even when I knew I defo had the grades, there's just so much time to wait that there's plenty of time for doubt to build.

She's right in the sense that there would be another person behind Kronii, and people would love that Kronii too, but I'm not sure if they could have done better honestly. She got chosen from management to fit the role, the viewers love her and her antics, she's funny and so much more. She also has the most subscribers from among the Holo Council members. I know people don't like these comparisons, but I just wanted to say with that that she clearly does things right, and I'm glad we got to know her that way, people that might have never encountered her otherwise.

Agree with her completely; she's not underselling or downplaying herself, she's just being realistic. The fact is that there are 1,200+ applications for each of the 5 slots of a generation. To try and say that the 1,199 others wouldn't be enjoyable is just being dishonest. Over time, we grow to associate the voice and personality with the model, and she's right, we would have done it with Kronii even if it was a different person behind the model. Yes, it wouldn't be THE Kronii we know and love, but it would have been a highly talented individual whom we and others would enjoy greatly. For example sake, let's say any of them auditioned for Gen 1, but didn't get in. They then auditioned for Gen 2 and did get in. We'd be none the wiser that the Time Warden might have been a Shark if the dice landed just slightly different. Hell, we know that Kiara and Calli talked about wanting to be each others models in the beginning. Of course we can't see them that way today; they've established themselves as who they are over time. We can't really un-see the people we've grown to appreciate over time, but if they had switched before their debut streams we'd all sit here today going "Hmm, no Calli, I can't see you as a reaper!"

I tried to be as objective as I can but the one that made me think is only a parallel world where Haachama is Hoshikawa and Hoshikawa is Haachama. To kinda add context (I was half lurking while this was going live), I remember her talking about how some of the Supas were selling themselves short regarding their contributions to the birthday efforts, and that she was gracious about any amount of effort they offered. So talking about this was kinda chat’s way of returning the favor haha. But yeah, this is why I think lots of us are Kromies. Within the bit about being perfection is someone very relatable, at least to me: someone who did have doubts but tried anyway. Someone who undersells themselves yet is so unaware of the impact they can have.

Woah, this is an old clip I stumbled into. I might hazard a guess that her voice gave her a leg up for her application and interview. It's unique and pleasant to say the least. It's interesting thinking that someone else could have been this avatar since we associate her with it so much. I personally view the virtual side as the initial pull to bring someone in to view their content, but we stay and keep coming back because of the voice and personality behind that. With Kronii, a lot of my draw to her is that she doesn't feel the need to be the cutesy moe-blob that a lot of idol personalities try to appeal to or sprinkle in. She's a bit dark, cynical, mildly depressed and was in the trenches of the wild west era of the web. It makes her super relatable like a funny friend or acquaintance you always want to hang out with... But underneath that and the character she's developed over the years from the initial prompt, there's a super sweet person with an iron shell that we all hope the best for. I hope she continues on with Hololive for the foreseeable future as I love her interactions with the other EN & ID members and Wadamama's character design is nice. If she ever does decide to step down to become independent or pursue other ventures though, I'ma be there day f'n 1. She's won me over with her entertainment and vocal talents.

She probably does acting judging by her response to the idea of auditioning. One of the things my sister learned pretty early on in acting is that auditions aren’t just up to your talent. They are looking for somebody in particular, and if you don’t fit it, it isn’t worth getting upset or thinking you’re bad. It’s called type casting and it isn’t about talent. She gets that. So I think she probably had some kind of background with acting.
