Great use of Loop with ping pong there on Nana! 🙏 And choosing the main music loop was a sublime choice due to the other harmonies that are a bit quirky out of context! Noticing this is a part of your sound. I love it. I'm musically trained and tend to go for safer musical passages. I need to let go a bit! Welcome back from your break.

Thank you! I’m forever experimenting but some things definitely stick! 👍

@@nervouscooks And what I meant to say is I know you are musically educated and hear harmony and play keys, but those things from my past sometimes restrict me when it comes to making choices with samples and tuning. Those other parts of the arrangment at that particular chord added so much vibe to it in a way that I never would have chosen. You really have a particular gift for that, from my pov. I think I've watched all your vids on your channel now!

@@thekeysman6760 I really appreciate that, it’s kind of you to say. I don’t really know how to play much but I can usually get to where I’m trying to go with trial and error. I think you’re right though, sometimes musically a lack of training can help you break barriers as I don’t really think about what is technically correct. I just go for feeling really. 🙂

where are the drums from?

They are from The Drum Broker… it’s a sample pack from The British Music Library called A Good Days Dig. Great series with loads of nice breaks and one shots. Highly recommend 👍👍
