The oldest system I've owned is an N64 but this game looks amazing! The new Mad Max game doesn't look too bad, but I thought after all this time it should have been a lot better. When I want car combat, I still just load up Interstate 76 from 1997, to this day nothing else comes close.

scottthewaterwarrior I'm sad now because you've missed out man. The N64 is nothing compared to the NES and SNES. Besides Starfox 64, Mario Kart 64, Smash Brothers and Pokemon Stadium, I hated N64. The platformers and the majority of the games were junk in my opinion. I hated 3D platformers. During that time I enjoyed the Playstation (PS1) way more.

It LOOKS pretty good, has a feel of GTA to the driving sequences, but maybe I am too accepting of the game visually, though it looks pretty plain palette swaps, and kinda ugly color choices, kinda boring music, and NO THUNDERDOME?! Hw do they expect us to make a madmax game with a thunderdome level? This should have been a trilogy imo, with mad max, road warrior, and beyond thunderdome elements making a perfect licensed game, I guess it just wasn't meant to be...

i had this game, it ruled. anyone who says its bad really eats piss. its just hard as hell. run out of fuel and you're done for! cant get much better than this on famicom anyways.. i dont think i even got as far as the arena part. it was a badass open ended game

My cousin got this game for Christmas when it came out. I was so stoked to play it, and when I finally did, I was like, "What is THIS? Seriously W.T.F is this? This sucks! Why are there marshmallows you have to collect??" I hated it and I still do. I only hope someone does it justice and makes a real MM game. Fallout style.

This game is identical to Mindscape's C64/Amiga 500 game Road Raiders (Aka Motor Massacre). Like the Conan NES game, all they did was slap a licensed property label on the port and called it a day. At least this game is okay compared to Conan.

where does Max go from the end? He makes a religious movie which rakes in millions, then gets arrested for DUI (which is more infamous because he bashed the jews), then started dating a russian chick, only to physically and verbally abuse her (which she retaliated by recording the arguments which were leaked by tabloids), then after his plot to create a film about the macabees failed, Max began to insult the screenplay writer and asked this: "WHO WANTS TO EAT, WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO EAT? HOORAY!"
