I originally thought it would be impossible with how fast everything moves and how many missles they fire at you but I managed to finally complete this helluva game. -

"Black Jack is in reach! Blast it out of the sky!" First time I played this part, I was blown away. The music, sound and overall presentation is amazing. The shaky controls due to engine back blast just adds to the epic moment.

A variation of the Konami works on controller 1. Up, Down, Left, Right, B, A, Start at the title screen. A sound will play to confirm it worked. You'll start with 9 extra lives instead of 2. There's a code that's well known that works on controller 2. Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start at the title screen. You'll hear a sound to confirm and whenever you gain 20,000 points you'll get 3 extra lives.

This game fixed a lot, if not all, of the first game's problems. The near-complete lack of music has been fixed with an awesome soundtrack, the landing sequences are easier, there's no midair refueling, and the action is much more intense! I dare say I like this game. Also, if you haven't heard Stone McKnuckle's remix of the first stage theme, go listen to it right now!

My father. A USAF pilot could not land on the carrier, or his pilot friends or any of us kids. Turns out the directions were completely wrong (1st game), and the game was broken on that but. Still was a crazy game, and thank God ace combat came out 7 years later.

Top Gun: The Second Mission was actually not bad. It was sharper and faster, with better graphics, and a totally awesome 2 player mode. Love or hate the first one all you want, but Top Gun: the Second Mission is totally awesome.

You could make your plane fly as slow as 512 mph then it was easier. You had to speed up and slow down a certain way.

I’m 17 and i absolutely love Gameboy and nes games! I love the graphics and the colors.
