As a 90s kid, "Saint Seiya" (aka "The Knights of the Zodiac") was definitely a part of my childhood. I'm from eastern Europe where it's been quite popular (although not as much as, let's say, Dragon Ball). From what I've heard from my Brazilian friends on FB, the series used to be also SUPER popular in Latino-America. We may feel lucky that, unlike anime imported to the USA, our versions were relatively unchanged. Yes, I know they never released Saint Seiya in the States, but I saw what they turned Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon into.

The main drawback while also being a good thing was the plot and how the gameplay was tied to it. U had to use a certain saint to beat a boss while also having to let him die once or sac your entire team. It was painful to figure out for first timers but it was somewhat possible for fans of the anime coz the secret to defeating bosses was similar to how the actual heroes defeated them in the show Like seriously how was i to know that u need to reduce your whole Cosmo and life bar to 1,let the hero die,allow him to be resurrected by an angel,learn a new move,pump Cosmo and life bar to 80% and fight the boss again
@evgenymoskalev38606 жыл бұрын
Dude, I played it as a kid but the original Japanese version. Man it was a torture to get around without understanding what was going on in a game based on texts battles. And passwords, I think they are as long as they can get 20 or so I think characters, just random letters from hirogana (an alphabet like abc ). Otherwise it was kinda intriguing at the same time.
