@@googlestore4830 i wouldn't totally agree on that bc the scaling is different, with an 18 start you only need 10 lines to get from lvl 29 to 30, with a 29 start you need 200 lines, so you get way less points for the same amount of lines and tetrisses

It doesn't normally, it is a few frame trick (duration where it's possible depends on the fall speed) where you can rotate the piece before it falls down another cell.

Yes, but when you get to 29 from a 19 start, the levels go up (to 30 and beyond) every 10 lines, which increases the score multiplier and allows you to score higher. Where as when you start at 29 you're stuck at 29 for 230 lines. Making your scoring potential much lower.

In an 18 or 19 start, the levels increase much faster after 29, and higher levels mean more points. If you start on 29, it stays at that level for a full 200 lines. (So basically, the same performance on a 29 start gives you fewer points, so it's hard to compare the scores without a bunch of computation)

@@waxt0n Every time you clear lines, you get a number of points based on your current level. So the killscreen of a normal game gives you points like 29, 30, 31, 32, ... and a 29 start gives you points like 29, 29, [17 more times], 29, 30, 31, ...
