I just did this mod myself with the same kit from the same seller. Worked perfectly for my toploader. Good job on your kit.

That's awesome! What color did you choose and were you happy with the color?

Great video man! Love that handle name. That is crazy how they didnt include AV outs on the top loader. But i realized recently that I was actually using my RF connector even when the super nintendo came out because i didnt know any better as a kid.

A lot of TV’s back then that I used didn’t have composite inputs. I typically used a VCR as a go between. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks a bunch, this was super helpful! I ordered the same ebay kit.

way easier than when I had to build custom circuits and get the AV jacks separately. This looks very easy.

It is. I've built my own circuits for my other A/V mods and it's tedious. A big selling point for me was the 3D printed molding that fits right in. I don't have access or the knowledge to print one, myself. Thanks for watching!

Hey thanks bro! I’ve recently gotten into modding, like I modded HDMI into my GameCube, and I’ve always wanted to turn my top loader into a/v, so now I can! Again, thanks bro!

Nice mod kit and job :) On another note, do you know where i can get a AV mod kit for a Atari 5200, or know of a good schematic to build myself? Cheers :)

I have some friends that have A/V and power jack modded a 5200. I will ask for a link from them and get tack to you.

The response I've gotten is slow. However, one of the guys told me that you use the same mod for the 5200 as you do the 7800. Here's one for s-video for the 7800: saundby.com/atari7800mod/7800_vidmod_construction.html according to him, if you want just composite video: "Just combine the chroma and Luma and you will have composite it's really the only reliable way to get it from a 5200 a simple amp like in the 2600 doesnt seem to work well"
