That's probably one of the worst games ever made. The difficulty is so ridiculous because of the 20 hits to kill each enemy. Compare that pile of shit to a brilliant beat em up like Final Fight. I'm now 46 years old and Nintendo was the best thing in my life when it first came out. My brother and I wanted this system so bad but my family was a little poor.....not crazy poor but just middle class and my Pop always provided for us and payed the bills and fed us and worked really hard. So when Nintendo came out we got the hand me downs like the Atari 2600 from family friends that knew we couldn't afford it. We were happy with the Atari. We'd then visit other kids houses and watch them play NES but never could play. Most kids were pretty stingy about not letting my brother and I play. It sucked and hurt but what can you expect from kids. Our next door neighbors got a system and we used to go over and just watch them play Super Mario Bros. and Pro Wrestling and when we asked if we could play they always said later but never. Another friend of the family got a system and he'd let us play a few times but it still hurt because we loved video games. Finally my Pop told my brother and I that if we'd make the A, B honor roll in school in our report card for the next period in combination with keeping up with our chores and keeping our room clean, he promised he'd get us a Nintendo. So we worked very hard and did it. We both got A B honor roll in our report cards and as soon as we came home we were itching so bad for our Pop to come home from work. We saw him drive up and we greeted him and shoved our report cards in his face like animals and he was like...Calm down. He looked at them, then looked at my Mom with a smile and grin and said, "I'm proud of you boys." Then said, let me go to the bathroom first and meet me outside at the truck. He drove us to the Toy's R Us and we walked in that store so excited and he said get your Nintendo. We picked the ticket and he paid for it and walked over to the pick up room and we left with our Nintendo Entertainment System that was finally ours!!! So fucking Awesome. We only had Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt for a few months but that was okay with me as we humbled ourselves to finally play our video games in peace in our own room with my Pop playing with us as well. He loved video games as well. These commercials were so awesome as I was living life in this era and it was so very nostalgic and meant something to me. Fast forward to 2020 I have every single game I have always wanted but never had, every played, rented, etc. and every accessory and multiple systems that I have learned to repair and it feels great. Fuck all the stingy kids that made my brother and I feel like crap. As old as I am that still stings as a bad dumb memory sad to say but I now have the funds to collect everything I want as a kid and now have. Sorry the for long story but I just felt like I needed to share this story in anyone out there felt this way etc. lol. So Fucking ey.....so I now tell my kids that I was in a gang back in the day. I sport my fingers and say with a Mexican accent..."I'm N.E.S. 4 LIFE!!!" lol ...Thanks for posting this wonderful video! A+++

Kids were definitely stingy back then with their Nintendo... We got one in 87 for Christmas though it was my gift I knew it was for me and my brother as he got the 13" color TV that year. Our parents knew we would have to learn how to share because he had the TV and I had the Nintendo lol... Pro wrestling, Contra, Super Contra,Mike Tyson's punch out,Rc Pro Am,man me and my bro had a blast. Luckily for me he grew out of playing games so two or three years later I wind up being the one getting the Super Nintendo all to myself and that's when I really started playing games like Zelda final fantasy and RPG games and I've never looked back

христиан кискинов Don’t give up. I finally beat the game this year after pretty much rage quitting at 13 or 14. If it’s taught me anything, you just need to stick with it and learn the game, but it can be beaten if you stick with it.

I remember the commercials for Dragon Warrior, Mega Man 3, StarTropics (wish they picked it back up with a sequel like they did with Kid Icarus), NES/Zelda Rap, Mike Tysons punch out, zelda 2, castlevania 2: simons quest & i could have sworn there was one for Gauntlet. Was surprised to see one for Metroid. As cheesy as these look now, these were awesome back in their heyday & bring back memories

These commercials are actually better then playing most of the games by yourself in your room with the blinds closed during a wonderful Saturday morning.I feel the spark of that nostalgic feeling that’s quickly fleeting during some parts.Probably why some games came with t-shirt and poster keeping you immersed in the fantasy.
